View Full Version : Should a fourth member join Evolution?

Is it just me, or does the new "Threevolution" seem to be lacking something? I was thinking, would anyone else like to see a new member added to Evolution in coming weeks? Evolution has the past, present and enforcer positions locked in, but the future of RAW hasn't been re-filled yet. Would you like to see the spot remain vacant (or given to Batista), or would you like to see a new member come in and become Randy Orton's replacement. I quite personally, think the group could use a fourth member, but the question is who. Here are some of the candidates I'd like to see in the big E:

Matt Morgan
One of the biggest guys under a developmental contract, plus he can work in the ring, too. I've only heard good reports about him, and he can play the face and the heel roles extremely well. Not to mention his big size, I could really see potential in this guy joining the RAW roster.

Shelton Benjamin
He's returned and appears to be playing the psychotic face Edge played when he returned. I personally think Benjamin plays the solo against Evolution role better than Edge and Orton, but I could see this guy joining as the future of RAW. He showed up on RAW, anti-Evolution, and he made his mark, but he didn't have solid foundation. Benjamin will be one of the biggest stars in the WWE's future, I don't see why the WWe should shove him down our throats and have him co-main event with Benoit & Orton.

Rob Conway
I don't know why, but I can see this guy joining. He's a solid athlete, and looks credible, as well as being able to put on ***** matches when he needs to. Bring back the alias "Iron Man" and have him look like a wrestling prodigy. Maybe a short feud with ex-partner Sylvain Grenier, before moving onto a huge feud with Shawn Michaels.

Nick Dinsmore
I would mark out if we saw the return of Eugene, then he just froze in th emiddle of his Eugene-like acting, then just transformed into Nick Dinsmore, and told us how gullible we are. Again, another brilliant technician, and the Four Horsemen worked for Benoit in WCW, I think Nick could pull it off in the WWE.

Rhyno
I think this guy would be great in a stable like Evoultion. He makes a better rampaging face, but if it helps him as a heel hitman, then so be it.

Shawn Michaels
Why not? RAW isn't short on faces, and Michaels is great in the ring, and great on the mic, and can pull great feuds out of his ass. I could see Michaels joining Evolution, and making the faces seem more like underdogs. As long as they give him somehting to do, have him talk regularly, and put him in interesting feuds, he will remain firmly over as a heel.

So what do you all think? I wouldn't also mind seeing two members join, and have a massive Survivor Series Elimination Match at SS. Triple H, Ric Flair, Batista, Rob Conway & Nick Dinsmore vs. Randy Orton, Shelton Benjamin, Chris Benoit, William Regal & Sylvain Grenier woul dbe top notch, IMO.

Benjamin is pretty much the only fit, but even he is sketchy in the role. Conway is currently in another (good) gimmick, Michaels is too old and the other guys don't fit the high roller mold at all.

I think should be a new member.Though Morgan and Rhyno would be more useful in and enforcer role.HBK you'd have to forget the whole HHH/HBK history.Conway and Dinsmore would be intresting but they wouldn't fit in too much.Benji would be a good choice if his mic skills could inprove. If i had to choose one man to me the forth for Evolution it would be .......

CHRISTIAN

Not only would it give him the extra push he would need to succeed and reach ME one day.But hes got the look and the attitude needed to fit in with Evoultion.

Shelton would be a good choice, but i think either Edge or Christian will be joining Evolution...or maybe both of them :D

Christian is currently one of the highlights of the night, putting him in a stable would kill his major overness (IMO)(bad grammar, I know :D ). Give the position to Edge, everyone hates him already

What about Benoit?

That could freshen things up

Maven should join Evolution------ :)

What can I say. Im a Maven fan and the way fans will start to notice him is if they bring him off Sunday Night Heat and move him into Evolution. I think it would be great.

Christian needs to be on his own. I just think he wouldn't work as well if he was part of a stable. I thik Shetlon or Conway would be decent selctions if there is to be a fourth member. I don't think guys like Morgan or Rhyno could work since they have their monster in Batista. They need someone kind of similar to Orton.

Yeah they definatley don't need another big man in Evolution.

Christian needs to be on his own... or maybe even gather more followers and make a stable of his own! I would SO mark out.

As for Bentoit, no way he should join. Bentoit needs to be a face.

Out of the current Raw roster I would say either...

Garrison Cade or a reformed Hurricane who has "seen the light" and gave up the superhero business and adopted Evolution's ways.

Like Gouda said a reformed Hurrican going by the naem Sugar Shane Helms could work.

If we're gonna give the spot to anyone, and I'm not necessarily advocating that the spot should be given to somebody, we should focus on their charisma rather than their wrestling abilities. Sure, throwing the Hurricane in there would be different, but I think if they pushed Shane Helms properly, he wouldn't even need to be in with Evo.

Probably the best person for the role is Shelton B. He's already shown us that he can be a good heel, but I'm not too certain that his mic skills are up to par. He can deffinately be in the ME scene, but under the guiding wings of evolution he'll get there without spending eternity in upper-midcard hell.

At least then Beniot will be pulled out of his slump. :)Benoit in Evolution is a bad idea, he'd be playing second fiddle to Triple H, but there needs to be a new member. Randy Orton made Evolution what it is, and without him it's just a bland heel stable without much depth. The only logical guy on the list in the first post would be Shelton Benjamin. If Benjamin could impove his mic work and use his new gimmick to his advantage he could be Evolution's new blue chipper and hopefully draw some crowd reaction for them.

One more name I would toss out would be Jericho. Just because whoever takes the fourth role would basically take over for Orton and be HHH's right hand man for the next couple of months. And is going to be thrown into matches with Benoit, Orton and others, so they have to be seen as a threat.

I'd say Christian would play the part the best though, and it would be espcially nice if it meant that Tomko was gone

What about a Diva? Like Trish or Molly.

The original plan before Maven lost his mother and got injured was to be the NEXT member of Evolution. As it stands this is still the plan sometime in the future. I think it will go as HHH will groom another, bigger and better Orton. This being Maven. WWE Want to give him a push and a a heel in Evolution seems to be the way they feel to do this

I would probably go with Cade

Screw it! Bring back Ralphus and place him into Evolution! That stable is a crock since it was altered.

I like the idea of Christian.

I do think they need a high flyer to have all the aspects covered.

Evolution effectivly needs someone similar to Orton in age, mainly because you have all bases covered again: Flair = Past, HHH = Present, New Guy = Future.

Out of that list I say Shelton, Conway or Dinsmore.

I would put more emphasis on Conway and Dinsmore though, mainly because Conway is going nowhere with his shitty gimmick, and he definatly has the potential to do better, or Dinsmore as the Eugene gimmick is dead now that HHH has repeatedly squashed him.

Christian is a good choice to replace Orton, considering his current character is similar to Ortons character in many ways, except Christian is so much better than Orton, whether it be in the ring or on the mic.

Linda McMahon. She can feud with Vince by making Batista or Ric Flair her love slave.
And this IS the idea they will go with.

I think should be a new member.Though Morgan and Rhyno would be more useful in and enforcer role.

Ypu couldn't put Rhyno in the enforcer role because standing next the Batista would make him look tiny. It just wouldn't work. Morgan is too much like Batista.

Best bet would be Shelton. He's fairly charismatic, good in the ring and would fill the void left by Orton perfectly. Otherwise Evolution is just 3 old guys on steroids.

Maven could join them.
I've said all along he would be the best choice

No point in Edge, Christian, Benoit etc... joining them. Because they wont win the title as part of evolution (I wouldnt think)

I kinda like the idea of matt Morgan...except more in the batista role

The one name i really like is ROB CONWAY!
Now that would be something!
