which do you people see as being better at the moment?
I would say Smackdown (altho I missed it this week.)
It seems like smackdwon is trying harder, and they are spreading the show more, and giving everyone a good go.
Raw have not been able to give regular airtime to guys like:
Hurricane, Rosey, A-Train, Maven, Val Venis. It has been all HHH and Randy Orton, with alot of Kane and Lita and a dash of Jericho, Christian, Edge.
The only midcarders getting a go on raw atm are tajiri, rhyno and La Resistance.
Unlike Smackdown, who have been giving good airtime to JBL-Taker, Angle/Guerrero/Reigns, Big Show Return, London/Kidman, Dudleyz vs RVD, Rey, bob holly and billy gunn, as well as Charlie Haas, FBI etc...
I give smackdown! :y: :y: :y:
and Raw! :n:

<font color=cyan>I do it 'till I'm <font color=red><b>RAW</b></font color><font color=cyan>! It seems to have more of an edge than SmackDown, with better gimmicks, and a storyline I enjoy more. Yeah, I know I'm missing out on the CWs, but with Jamie leaving, I'm not missing out on much. Yeah, Rey, London, and Kidman are awesome (and yes, I will cream myself if we see Kidman VS London at a PPV) but who else do you have in that weight class that is worth a damn? Spike?
JBL should be an upper-midcarder, NOT a main eventer, going for the US title. Taker, Angle, Guerrero and The Show are all cool, and I have nothing bad to say about them (cept for Taker looking like "Walker" Texas Ranger, Angle turning into a joke as a heel, Eddie should take some time off to tend to his personal life, and The Big Show sucks).... Every former ECW wrestler is being misused, the tag team champions (don't misuderstand, I like Rene) suck, and Charlie Haas is being under used.
I could complain more and more about SmackDown, but let's talk about Raw.
No, the writers do not walk on water, nor are they made of steel. I dislike Lita's story line, but Kane is cutting some Foley level promos. Orton, Benoit, and Shelton impress the hell out of me, Eugene is entertaining (and the only thing close to Eugene that SmackDown can do is <strike>JBL</strike> Gowen, who turned out to be a one legged bitch), Evolution is mildly cool, and you gotta love Kane. Yes, I want to see other wrestlers get some air time, but in due time. If you try to get everyone on the show you'll need to cut back on the story lines. It should be about wrestling, right? Hey, wasn't there a storyline where James E. Corrnet said that, and the fans LOVED the idea, but then he got no heat when he brought in The Midnight Express?

I think that Raw is the better show. I mean they are all ready pushing some of the guys on RAW. Is Venis even still wrestling? I thought he retired sometime earlier this year.I kinda like Raw more because of Orton and all the other guys even though SmackDown does seem to be a little better then RAW I think that RAW will work their way up till there Equal. :y:
Truthfully, I like RAW better than SmackDown!... I do like SmackDown!, but there's something about RAW that makes it seem superior... Now if I can only stay awake during both, I'd be fine >_> (It's not because it's boring, I've noticed I've been going to bed around 8 or 9 now... So I sometimes fall asleep during RAW and SmackDown, but it's taped, so I just go back if I miss anything important...)

I think they both really suck, but RAW just sucks less.

Raw owns Smackdown by a mile. I'm not a big Crusierweight fan anyway and I hate Taker.
Raw is just a bit better although I feel Smackdown is improving but I just look more forward to Raw than Smackdown.

I'm looking even more forward to RAW now that Diva Search ends tonight. But, I do hope Christy wins.

The opening match on Velocity this week was Akio vs. Paul London, and they got ten minutes!
You're not going to get wrestling like that on RAW or SmackDown.

I like both shows but damn it, I must choose Raw is Jericho. It may have HHH hhhogging up the screen and Kane and Lita's unbearable storyline but I enjoy those shocking surprises you only get from Raw.
Sure SD! has surprises but because of its taped nature, it doesn't shock as much. Plus, Raw doesn't disappoint me as much as Smackdown at times. Where else will you have Al Wilson, Heidenreich poetry, CW division underused, and Blackjack Bradshaw as champ?
For wrestling, Velocity; for angles, RAW.

How many times have we had a thread debating who is better smackdown or raw?

A few weeks ago I would have said RAW by a fair bit, but now I might learn back towards SD.
I have trouble finding a show that plays the same tune week in and week out to be entertaining. I mean the whole HHH thing just kills the show for me. And now that Benoit has been replaced by the worst babyface since Ahmed Johnson, I just cant get into the show.
On top of that RAW has some really terrible angles, and the women's division has become less and less entertaining every week.
So outside of the chance of seeing some matches like HBK-Edge and HBK-Christian and other HBK matches, there's very little I like about RAW.
SD does have the Taker problem, and yeah JBL was a bad choice for a main eventer, but at least it seems like there is some variety on that show, well at least more than RAW. Plus, you got the CWs which definately trumps the women's division, and there's no Kane-Lita crap, so thats a plus.
With Anlge back, the roster has become much deeper, so I would say for now I'm leaning back towards the SD side of things.
Considering I've seen maybe 3 Smackdowns since June, I'll have to go with Raw by default.
