I gotta give this to Shawn Micheals for performing with a near broken back against Austin at Wrestlemania.
shane mcmahon's done some pretty crazy stuff

If you're going to give it to HBK, then you have to give it to Perfect. HBK wrestled a pretty shitty match, which is justified, but Perfect wrestled a 4-5 star match at Summerslam 91 with a serious back injury.

Mick Foley on Hundreds of occasions. Austin with the neck.

Perfect, tied with Foley in the Hell in the Cell...any other guy would have been taken out on the stretcher

If you watch the Summerslam match, Perfect sells like he's at 100%. He was bouncing around that ring like crazy. You wouldn't even notice he was injured at all. But He tapped out right away when Bret hooked the Sharpshooter

To me nothing comes close to what Angle did at Mania in Seattle. Nobody else had to deal with that kind of pressure in their match (being in there with a somewhat green guy in fron of 60,000 fans) and as serious of an injury.
So yeah, Angle.

Bradshaw wrestled with 2 broken ribs before.

I totally forgot about Angle, he's totally up there
Kurt Angle, 1996 Olympics.
Anything done in the WWE pales in comparison to that.

Not the gutsiest comparitively but Trips and the quad injury must have been pretty horific for him.

Yeah, and if you saw that Mania of Wrestlemania thing on the Wrestlemania XX DVD, then you know what happened to him after the match.
Austin at XIX as well.
Watching that documentary gave me so much insight into exactly what they were putting on the line.

I'd say Mick Foley at King of the Ring 1998, Triple H the tag match on Raw in 2001, and Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania XIX.
They all deserve a ton of respects for putting the fans first :y:

Before anyone says Sabu, don't, there is a difference between gutsy and stupid, same goes for new jack.
Austin and Angle when they wrestled at WM 19. I saw what happened to the both of them as well on the DVD.

Bradshaw has NEVER wrestled ;)
But on a serious note, gonna go with HHH and the quad, Austin when the neck first got damaged and Austin and Angle at WrestleMania XIX

Foley-Hell in the cell. There was nothing like it. No padding, no protection for the shit he did in that match.
Angle for really anything during the WMXIX peroid...
Foley on countless times, mostly for the HIAC...
Triple H when he tore his quad... I mean, he took the Walls of Jericho, that had to be fucking TOURTURE... My grandfather tore his quad a few months ago (I always say he pulled a Triple H :shifty: ) and he couldnt move the leg at all without ALOT of pain...
Austin at SummerSlam 97... Even though the ending was shitty, in the condition he was in, he should NOT have moved at all... The fact that he actually got Owen rolled up the way he did was a miricale, and he's lucky he didnt injure himself worse (Owen could have landed on Austin awkward, etc)...
Michaels at WMXIV...
Lesnar finishing the WMXIX match... Again, I also saw the documentry, and they showed that he was really fucked up, and that he was lucky he could pull out the win, especially with an F5...
Shane McMahon pulls shit out of his ass and it's great... I'm talking all those HUGE bumps... When Shane O Mac wrestles, you KNOW you're in for atleast one BIG bump...

I guess I can put somethin then.
Austin really did somethin at SummerSlam '97. not only pullin off that roll up after the piledriver. But the fact that he stood up and raised that belt to the fans.
Angle at XIX. Nothin more can be said than what was already said. Angle showed why he is the man that night.
Brock at XIX. Lucky he had such a strong neck. Anyone else taking that sort of fall like that with that impact would not have gotten up.
Trips after the quad. He had to have so much adrenaline runnin through him to even stand up and continue with the match for minutes after he tore it which included standin on it and feelin the Walls.
Foley at King of the Ring. That first fall was hurtful but that second fall with teh chair comin down on him like that? and yet he still continued to go at it?
Sabu and New Jack are just idiots. Just wanted to say that.

2 Man Power Trip. That was awesome.

Kevin Nash for fighting off the pain of the leg injury, caused by walking, to continue with the match for so long.
That took a lot of guts, and heart.

I haven't been watching wrestling for very long (just over a year now) but I've seen great performances by Shane and HBK ..
I've seen clips of Mick Foley's matches, but was never around to see him wrestle much, so I wouldn't really know .. and same with Stone Cold, last year around this time he sort of ceased the actual wrestling and started entertaining.
Okay, as much as I love Mick Foley, what he does is completly different than what guys like Angle, Austin, and HBK did.
While Foley simply is willing to take insane bumps, these guys all went out and wrestled great, non-spot fest matches, while seriously injured.

Flair says it best when he calls Foley a "glorified stunt-man", which is exactly what he is. Don't get me wrong, I love Foley just as much as the next guy, but there's a huge difference between guys like Foley and Angle.
But back to the original topic, I'd give this little honor to Triple H. Love him or hate him, to wrestle with a torn quad is amazing in my view.
