Damn it just another channel I don't get and probably will have to wait to move out of my house to get. :'( But, it sounds great. This sounds like one of the great things WWE did for their fans.
It's saying "On Demand", leading me to believe that this is a PPV type thing... Is it going to be a normal channel, a pay channel, or PPV?
**Goes to check cable company's site**
If I have to get digital cable, God fucking Damnit, I'm getting Digital cable!

The first big mark-out for me during the video was that second-and-a-half where they showed Taz (no extra "Z") just standing there with his arms crossed.
They had me at "beat me if you can, survive if I let you."

My favorite part was when they showed Nash, Hall, and Syxx all together saying something. Original Wolfpac =

^^yeah, that's right. Does anybody know how to order this? It starts next Thursday and I can't find anything on where to get it. I checked my In Demand Stations for next week and it's not listed.

I wish they would have listed the cable companies that are offering this.
My company's website only has the stations they already carry, with no information on any channels coming soon. I know for a fact that we're getting a WB station in the near future, because we get commercials for it all the time, but there's literally no mention of it on the company's site.
I want this station so bad, but I doubt it'll help me in my quest for employment if I'm sitting around all day watching the Wrestlemania IV title tournament.

Is it coming to Canada?
I have Rogers Digital, so I e-mailed them and asked them, dont know about anything else like Bell or whatever. BUt I figure with wrestling being as popular as it is up here, they'd be crazy not to carry. Hell if we can get Al Jazzera we should be able to get WWE 24/7.

I hate On Demand. It costs some dolla dolla bills. Everything has to be ordered all seperately. Like you have to pick and choose. Not exactly a wrestling channel as much as it is PPV.
Loose Cannon
09-25-2004, 04:22 PM
No, but you pay like $6-10 a month and you get everything. It's not a pick and choose.

It's video on demand, just like all the movies on demand channels. You pick and choose. It's not Pay TV.

Then what does this mean. This is off a website that had an article about it.
WWE 24/7's suggested rate of $6 to $10 per month - well above the $4.95 or less charged for premium SVOD services - is a clear differentiator, but one that Berreca said operators haven't totally rebuffed.
I don't know, you could be right, but I'm not sure. It says it's a subscription thing.

that would own. I've always said (well i'm saying it now) they have all the film, why not show it somehow.

It sounds like it's a $6-$10 addition to your cable bill, so that you can order these long ass PPVs and shows for like $4 per show or something. That's along the lines of how On Demand works.
But I could be wrong too, but most of the things I've read have pretty much shown its gonna be Video On Demand and not an actual channel.

Give it a few months, and it could happen.
But i'm not sure it would be on demand, but monthly payments.

Kinda like NASN then. If Sky get it I will drop straight the hell outta college. Can't wait for the classic stuff, things like nWo running the show, DX invading Nitro, David Arquette winning the WCW title. Er, I mean, all things have slight drawbacks, like we will see David Arquette winning the WCW title again.:shifty:

It was believed that WWE 24/7 would start in October, but latest word is the service is still months away from launching. The programs listed at 24-7.wwe.com is apparently just an example. [wrestlingobserver.com]
