Problem with AIM

Every time I try to log on AIM I get this message: "The procedure entry point AimIdleShutdown could not be located in the dynamic link library idlemon.dll." In fact it appears even when I try to uninstall AIM so I can't do anything with it.

Anybody know how to fix the problem?

No idea... my only suggestion would be to try re-installing AIM, and over-write all your files or something *shrug*

Do you use middle_man? And did you just update your AIM?

Yeah, but I don't have middle_man anymore.

I had the same problem and it was fixed after I uninstalled middle man :-\

Yeah, RDD was right, thanks for the help, and I re-installed middle_man too.

Probably not going to bother upgrading AIM this time because the new version sucks anyway.
