Yea right, how is that even possible.Thousands of people in a line aren't going to get thru in an hour, much less a minute. Were they all somehow reserved or something? Can anyone shed some light on this , not that i'll lose sleep over it but this just sounds like crap.

I don't know why they said a minute. I guess within a minute there were enough people in line, I guess. So in a way they didn't officially sell all tickets in an hour, but had more than enough buyers to sell out.
Well, theoreticly, it's possible because of phone ins and internet sales... Although even then it'd prolly take about 10-15 mins if the demand was high enough...
From what I hear, it actually sold out in about an hour...

Corporations buy them for their employees and promotional things. Groups of people will buy a whole bunch. Plus scalpers too.

Man: "I'd Like 10, 000 tickets please"
Girl at booth: "That's [dollar amoutn here]?"
Man: "Oh well you see... the thing about that is I only got five bucks. Can I pay the rest later?"
Girl at booth: "Sure."
And THAT is how you sell out in under a minute.
lol gouda, i was about to say the same thing

So let me get this right, are we talking about the whole event, or just certain seats here?

LOL, I can just imagine Bill Gates standing at the head of the queue with an enormous sack of cash and buying out the entire arena for the night.
The reaction from the people behind him in line who camped out for days on end cause they thought they'd be guaranteed tickets would be priceless.

It wasnt the WHOLE event... There were presales on the net the day before... I think they release a quarter to half the tickets, maybe more so they can have a fast official sell out...

Oh OK. Thanks for the help. I think the WWE's gonna have a good year next year if these big arenas and sales continue.
