Obviously by my name you can all tell that Im a huge Undertaker fan. What does everyone else think of him now that hes the deadman again? I personally wish he want still dressed like the american bad ass. I also want him to still have that kindof magic to him that he had when he was the lord of darkness, or the role he had when kane first came around. What does everyone else think?

I think his cowboy Indiana Jones look is pretty cool, you can really see the mixture of his A.B.A and L.O.D. put together which is the whole point of the new look. Which makes a lot of sense.

I prefered him the best during his "Red Devil, Big Evil" days as champ. Taker makes a much better heel than a face.

Oh I'm sure Taker will turn heel again soon. Now that the Ministry is officially back.....

Undertaker will always be cheered, nobody boos him, he's the man.

Personally I dont care for the current gimmick. Its like he's the old Deadman, but he's still the Biker Undertaker. I just wish they pick one or the other.
I was actually enjoying Taker the most right before he lost at SurvSer to Vince. The match he had with Kurt on TV was perhaps Taker's best match of his career. What I liked most about that time was that he was starting to sell a little bit. And it was interesting after seeing him play superman pretty much his whole career to see him play off getting older and a tad weaker I guess. To me anyway, it made him more sympathetic as a babyface.
Now with the seudo Deadman he's pretty much back to no selling, and when he does sell it doesn't look right for that character.
He's got a big challenge ahead if him and Kurt wind up headlining Mania. I mean there will be a lot of pressure to have a good match, especially being in there with a guy like Kurt. I dont know if he should be still in the WWE Title picture at thisd point in his career, but hey HHH is still doing it and he doesn't do business, so why not give it to Taker as well?

I liked him better the way he was before. When he had the ministry. That was the best Undertaker. When they made him a really dark and scary person that no one would want to screw with. That was the best. Then they turned him into the American Badass for the fans and I hated that. Then they said they would bring back his old gimmick but they screwed that up. I wonder if we will ever get the old taker back.

I just think he needs to change his attire. He still wears that black tank to thing, like he wore during his 'American Badass' days. He needs to go back to the dark rob wearing ministry look (which i think will happen soon).
The Ministry will be formed by Survivor Series. That will be the only reason why I would watch Smackdown! when they are formed. And maybe Cena.

THe best undertaker was the orignal. Grey gloves, urn, body bag et al.

I always figured that the reasoning for his current look, was that he was burried as the A.B.A. And he was resurrected at WM XX, so now he's kinda like...... a Dead American Badass..... That's how I picture it.

Are we sure the Ministry will return? I like the Ministry, I'm a HUGE Gangrel fan...but I thot those two just came in for a short stint with 'Taker to pump for No Mercy. I mean, I really HOPE they stay. But it's not what I heard.

Oh, and he did get booed when he shoved JR's face in Vince's ass. I remeber that rather distinctly. :(

Dude, if anyone sees the WrestleMania 14 match between kane and taker, he fought the same was as he does now.

I've always liked the Undertaker. I thought he was at his best When Kane came into the WWE. He got a tad bit of a new look, turned heel, became scary again, and had one of the best stables.
I don't know, I personally loved him when he was really dark.
what can I say, I'm a Taker mark. He was first favorite when I first started watching. I was a bit disappointed at Mania when he came out with his usual gear on but I still enjoy him when he is on. His best run certainly was when Kane came into the WWE.
I'm a huge Taker mark... He's been my favorite for the longest damn time... Austin's still up there (My FIRST favorite), but Taker surpassed him in the Attitude era in terms of gimmick and evilness IMO... Right now, he's a mix between the ABA and the LOD, like some have said... Personally, I dont mind... He played great as the ABA, but the LOD was always his calling... He played everything to a T in that era...

I havent seen it recently, but as far as I remember, he did not have the exact same style... The only reason he sold so much in that match was to get Kane over... Otherwise, he was a big man who no sold alot of shit, and IMO that's what made the Undertaker/Lord of Darkness gimmick so great... He wouldnt make it seem he would be hurting and would just keep coming...
His current style is almost the same as the Amercian Bad Ass, where he would seem more "human", but with a little Deadman thrown in, like the sit ups, tombstones, and the no selling...
His attire isnt the BEST they could have done, but I have come to the realization that it's 2004 and it was time for a change back to the Deadman, but not exactly the same... If he went STRAIGHT back to the Deadman, it wouldnt make sense, and he would have to throw his newer style right out the window... (Although, throwing the Taker logo on his pants right away didnt make sense if they wanted to make him seem like he rose from the grave...)
I think that The Undertaker WILL be going back to the old school of the LOD, but not right now... Eventually, he will be retransformed into the LOD with a Ministry for one or two more runs as champion, then he will call it quits I think... I see ATLEAST one more championship under his belt before he goes out...
I just hope the WWE dont spit in the face of Taker fans down the line and bring him back for a joke Battle Royal and have him lose to someone who cant even go over the top rope :nono:

When I first started really watching wrestling he had gone really dark with The Ministry, then the Corporate Ministry. But since then I havw watched his older stuff (WM14 vs Kane, SummerSlam 94 vs Undertaker) and I have to say he was at his best about the time when Hart Foundation and DX were both in WWF
In my opinion anyway.
Oh I'm sure Taker will turn heel again soon. Now that the Ministry is officially back.....Taker already 'got rid of' Gangrel and Viscera as noted on Smackdown, so I think it was a very short term return by both men. Taker is probably going to take the belt tomorrow, but I don't see him turning heel for quite a while.

Personally I don't particularly like the current Undertaker.
1) He looks like Chuck Norris.
2) He buries Paul Bearer in cement (which he somehow survives) and is yet still a face.
Other than old school Undertaker when he first came and stuff, I enjoyed the heel character he was playing while he was the champion awhile back. When he was all talking about "Respect" and stuff. I liked it about up until the Jeff Hardy match where they started to turn Taker face again.

OK, since we all know now what happened @ NM last night, there's still one thing that puzzles me...did they (WWE) or did they not (and I still remember this) say that UT was supposed to win the belt by year's end? Well, it's getting kinda late now for that and it's looking as though 'Taker probably will not get a title shot again at either Survivor Series or Armageddon, so it looks like once again, the fans get the screw-job from Vinnie Mac. :nono: And, btw Vince if you're out there reading this, this one's for you: :foc: .

Undertaker now to me looks even more "hicklike" than he was as the biker. If he came out chewing tobacco with a spitcup with that deadman music playing id probably die of laughter.

Looks like we are in for another month of JBL VS Undertaker.
