:D
Who would thought that I'd have posted 500 msg's on a wrestling forum.
and yet 18 months ago i didnt watch wrestling.
Basically I watched from about 1993-1996. I actually stopped watching wrestling after Steve Austin came in pretty much.
I didnt stop watching it because Steve Austin had come in, but rather, because it had got so repetitive and boring. I remember hiring a wrestling video in 1996 and falling asleep halfway through it.
For about 3 months in 1998 i watched wrestling again (as it was on free to air tv in australia.) I really liked it then. That was when DX were doing it all. However, the show went off the air (probably bought out by pay tv) and i didnt watch anymore wrestling until about 2003 (except HIAC taker-mankind.)
Since 2003, I have watched every PPV back to 1998 and about a dozen WCW PPV's.
Of course, I left the wrestling scene at the worst possible time. I missed the whole WWE VS WCW war, i missed the rise of austin, rock and several other wrestlers. Ultimatly, I left because it had gotten boring, and I wonder how many other people did the same (particuarly in Australia?)
Anyway, a new age of wrestling is in the early stages. Rise of Randy Orton, John Cena, Carlito Cool, Rob Conway and several others gives hope that a new era will soon begin.
And thats all I gotta say.
Thx for the forum ppl, and hope to continue posting
Cheers
