Woah didn't even notice that. I'm a bit surprised, I was expecting Brady to win it. He didn't have the most outstanding season but he did lead his team to a 12 game winning streak.
Plus he didn't have the options that Manning had.
I thought it would go Brady, McNair, Jamal Lewis, Manning

should've been Brady. and I'm not just saying that as a pats fan.
he led his team to a 14-2 record with average wide receivers.

I was thinking it would be Manning and then Brady personally

not McNair.
his team won a game or 2 without him
the colts wont win without Peyton and the pats won't win without Brady

It's kinda stupid how they shared an MVP. They should have had everyone vote again for one of them as a tiebreaker.

When the titans win the superbowl you will all see who is the REAL MVP. Not the co-mvp.

I don't mind the split. They both deserve it, Manning had a superb year, and McNair with a different injury every week still went out and lead his team to an 11-4 record.
Also ,why didn't Parcells get any votes? :shifty:

Like Hurricane said, I think Jamal should have gotten the MVP award. Sure, Manning and McNair had great seasons this year, but Jamal was the only thing Baltimore had going for them on the offensive end for just about all of the season. Outside of Wright to Robinson, Baltimore has no passing game, and if it wasn't for Lewis, the Ravens would be an 8-8 team and probably not in the playoffs.

My only problem with this is that there is Jamal Lewis and then there is Ray Lewis, and they BOTH got voted for. It's very hard to vote for two people on the same team for most valuable player (though I'm sure it is possible)
Jamal is great, but Peyton Manning is amazing. I am biased. He was my fantasy QB.

Manning or Lewis (Jamal or Ray), all 3 are good choices.
I'm a Pats fan, I wouldn't give it to Brady.
If it's going to a Patriot, Harrison, Law, Bruschi, someone on the D, the D won more games then the offense.
I like Brady and all, he's a smart QB, but what he does most times is keeps his team in a position not to lose, where a Manning takes his team and puts them in position to win?
Manning makes the big plays, where Brady normally makes the safe ones.

Without Jamal Lewis Baltimore wouldn't be in the playoffs. Not even close actually. He took that team to where they are right now. He deserves MVP. McNair and Manning both had exceptional seasons but not MVP seasons ... Lewis did. Ah well. I'm drunk out of my face BTW.

Well, Manning and Lewis would actually make more sense than Manning and McNair.

The reason McNair got so many votes for MVP this year is because people felt he got dicked last year in the MVP and Pro-Bowl voting, so this is a make-up MVP award for him.

I wonder what Rush Limbaugh thinks of this vote... :)

this is what saddens me. Brady coming in third in the voting and not making the pro bowl.

Manning should be the only MVP
