Is it just me, or did this week (No Mercy kindly excluded) just seem like the first good week for WWE in so many months? I mean, I was basically entertained and interested for the duration of both shows! Upon turning off my tv at 10pm Thursday night, it occurred to me that I wasn't really pissed off by anything that happened this week. I mentioned it to Joey and he made sure I was leaving No Mercy out of my remarks, but even that wasn't too bad. Of course, I did have a cold this week, maybe it was the meds and lack of sleep.

Well, I missed the beginning of Smackdown, and well, most of it. I think I saw a JBL vs Hardcore match so I turned the channel. Remembered it was on then came back to see John Cena beating up this Carlito guy. I thought he was just a jobber so I changed the channel and didn't watch any of it. I came on here and read that he won the US belt. I thought it was a joke because what was the point of the Cena Booker best of 5 series if the belt will be dropped that soon after.
besides carlito getting the us title, and jericho jobbing to triple h, i'd say it was really good this week
but i think it's good every week..

I agree, the shows were pretty good this week, and I definitely am liking the Carlito character :)

Both shows were good, but if the main event of RAW was leading to the RKOfest, did they really need Jericho to job to HHH?

I was kinda pissed with y2j jobbing to hhh aswell, that was just a match to show hhh's dominance i suppose, like we didnt know about that already though, maybe rhynos gonna be in line for the ic title now? But overall both shows were entertaining, i thought it was good Carlito got the US title, i just hope the wwe don't fuck this one up...
Raw wasn't anything special, and it continued to show the flaws of the brand. Randy Orton was still being shoved down our throats that he's a babyface and we should all embrace it, Y2J lost to Triple H and Benoit is still lacking direction. Y2J losing to Triple H was understandable, which is actually sad. Overall, the show wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either.
As for SmackDown!, Carlito Caribbean Cool was enough to make the show good. I totally like his gimmick, and how he pulls off being very cool and at the same time dressing in a funny looking wrestling attire with his lollypop afro is entertaining. Cena had to win the title at No Mercy, and he had to lose it on SmackDown! There was no better guy to win it than CCC, and it helped the newcomer in making an impact at the same time.

I'll agree that raw isn't that great but will you guys shut up about 'randy orton being shoved down our throats' the RKO fest was the best thing on the show IMO. It's getting tired this 'shoved down our throats' rubbish.
