This is the only reason they always win, they are so lucky. Just think about it, Aaron Boones HR last year. Their game 2 comeback this year. Two years ago Giambi grand slams when they are down by 3 in the 14th inning. Then just today Jeter clearly misses the tag on the steal but gets the call anyway. Its all luck and its stupid. What are some other examples of Yankee luck?

The Miz is just as bad as Bush and Kerry these days. "I can take something you say and draw endless conclusions from it"

Things go the Yankees way a lot and if you try to deny that you are just a Mariners fan.

A-Rod's play at 3rd just now: Luck

101 Wins this season: Pure Luck

26 World Cahmpionships: Really Lucky

Seeing a thread posted about how lucky the Yankees are: Priceless.

This is about Yankee luck, not about the playoffs.

Obviously its not all luck. I never said it was all luck. Most of their wins aren't lucky because htye have a good team. You can't deny that many of their big wins have come due to luck, lucky comebacks, lucky hits, lucky catches, lucky calls. Moreso than any other baseball team. You are just naive if you don't see that.

"This is the only reason they always win, they are so lucky."

From that you are saying that their talent has nothing to do with their success, and that it all is based on luck. "The only reason". Check Loose Cannon's post, if you have 26 World Championships you're doing something right. I don't see how Boone's homer is luck, Wakefield threw a flat knuckleball right down the pipe and Boone did what any major league hitter would do and hit it high and far.

I'll give you one instance where they had pure luck. Two words: Jeffery Mayor (sp)

Obviously they are a good team, and they catch breaks

A lot of team "catch breaks" though, every team has a little bit of "luck." So I don't really know what your point is here. Being lucky is a part of being a good team.

They're lucky to have so much talent.

Hey dumbshit there is already a bunch of MLB threads in here.[/BCWWF]

Your thread was directly about the Red Sox in the playoffs. If you make a thread about this years playoffs when there already is one, I will say something. This thread deals with the Yankees playoff history. Sorry, you still lose.

I'm going to take my statement back a bit after this current game, there have been a couple strikeouts called by the 3rd base ump that may have gone a little towards Johan.

Soooo I can't make a thread about Red Socks histroy in the play offs, but you can make a thread about Yankees history in the playoffs?...Riiiiight.
