Kevin's (Lotus') predictions:

Dallas Cowboys vs. Carolina Panthers:

Yeah, Carolina might have the home field advantage in this game, and yeah, they might have won their last three games, but take a look at who they have beaten the past three weeks: Arizona on a last-second FG, Detroit at home by only 6, and a hapless Giants team by 13. Not very strong. Dallas, as stagnant as their offense looked against the Saints, will find a way to win this game. Both of these teams stumbled into the playoffs (regardless of Carolina's 3-game win streak), and whoever wins this game will not get past the second-round. I give this game to Dallas because of the Parcells factor. They will triumph over Carolina 17-14.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Tennessee Titans:

This is a tough one and it will surely be a good game, I believe. History says Baltimore will win this one, having beat the Titans by two touchdowns in Tennessee when they won the Super Bowl, but I find it hard to go against co-MVP Steve McNair. But in the end, it always seems like a great defense (Baltimore) triumphs over a great offense (Tennessee). That's what happened in last year's Super Bowl: Tampa just made Oakland look silly. Also, the Ravens have Jamal Lewis, a guy that can plow through anybody's defense. So, I'll go with Baltimore in this game, beating Tennessee 16-10.

Green Bay Packers vs. Seattle Seahawks:

I find it hard to against Green Bay in this one. Green Bay has an emotionally motivated Brett Favre, home field advantage, and Ahman Green. Seattle is 2-6 on the road and both of those road wins came against sub-.500 teams. Also, Seattle has not won a playoff game since the 1980s, when they were in the AFC (Thank you Miz). These teams played earlier this year, and Green Bay ruined Seattle's shit, by a score of something like 35-13. The only thing Seattle has going for them in this game is their spiffy uniforms, and that won't be enough to counter attack Green Bay's powerful offense. Green Bay wins this one running away, 38-21.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Denver Broncos:

Peyton Manning will finally get over the hump of not winning a playoff game this season. Denver might have beaten Indy by two touchdowns in the regular season, but Indianapolis will not let that happen two times in a row. They will come out firing and light up the score board against the Broncos. Denver will keep pace in the first half, but Peyton and Marvin will be too much for Denver to keep up with in the 3rd and 4th Quarters. Indianapolis will win this one going away, 45-27.

Oh, and if you don't like all the pretty colors, too bad, because I don't feel like changing them like I did in that one thread. :)

Quincy Carter is just not very accurate. And Hambrick is awful. The defense over achieved. Roy Williams, Darron Woodson, and Dat Nguyen stand out as definate keepers though. Parcells did a great job this year with what he had. Now he can build HIS team next year.

LOL. I certainly hope so.They better bring in someone like Brunell, and in the draft they'll probably draft a RB with their first pick. The defense is there , I don't see how the hell they made the playoffs after that game.

maybe, just maybe... the Tuna got out coached?

Nah, the Boys were blue collar and over achived this year.

I just don't think Parcells will be around long enough to "Build" a team... it will probably be like the Jets, where he tries to win now, and screw up the salary cap for the next 5 years after he leaves.

I bet he can trade for Drew cheap... then pull of a deal for Curtis Martin, then he has the core of his 1996 Pats offense (already got Terry "I Didid did" Glenn) that he took and abandoned in the superbowl.

I don't see how the hell they made the playoffs after that game.

They did it by avoiding upsets. Games like @ Detroit that they should have won last year but ended up losing, they absolutely dominated.

When they played bad teams, they won. And that's something that alot of good teams can't even do. However, it was playing the decent-good teams where they struggled.

Vanderjagt pretends that it hurt and goes down, then Manning poses for the crowd and Vanderjagt grabs a bottle of beer (from one of his drinking sessions with Janikowski) and cracks it over Peyton's skull.

Then Eli can make the save as Janikowski and Vanderjagt make a quick escape.

I'm really impressed with the Colts tonight. I haven't had a chance to see them play much this season and they are showing me a whole new level of play now. I saw the Monday Night game against Tampa Bay which I atrributed to a little skill, a hell of a lot of luck, and an iffy call at the end. Then, since I live in Texas, I got to see them play the Texans. I didn't really see anything special there. Then I saw them get stomped by Denver a few weeks ago.

I had the impression that the Colts this year were a lot of hype, a lot of luck, and not much to really back it up when it came down to the playoffs. I guess they proved me wrong. If they keep playing this way I think they do have a shot to make it all the way.

Looks like they are playing KC next week, I've said from the start that KC will not win in the playoffs.

If the Colt's run defence plays like they did yesterday it'll be a slaughter...AKA no more Cheifs...

I went 4/4 on my picks...

How bout them Broncos CNM :naughty:

The Chiefs are gonna have there hands full next week. But still KC=Super Bowl Champs. If not, they will be in Madden

Yeah, remember the last time the Chokes were 13-3 and hosted a game at Arrowhead in the Divisional Playoffs? The Colts will win and go to the Super Bowl. History will repeat itself. Write it down.

Well if we're all talking about picks, I guess I went 3/3, with the Dallas/Carolina game not interesting me either way
