According to a report on the front page of TPWW. WWE is seriously considering having the winner of the championship poll tonite win the title in order to make it appear that the fans screwed HHH out of the title. WWE apparently wanted Micheals to be the winner, but will not have a problem giving the shot to Benoit if he wins. And since Micheals is apparently injured, the likelyhood of Benoit winning is pretty high. I really hope that Benoit gets the belt again. He made a great credible champion this year and could have a great fued with Edge IMO for the title. If the WWE is really palnning on having the title switch hands tonite, then Benoit is definately the logical choice to go with. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens tonite.

well if Benoit wins then I'm all for it but not if he has to feud with Edge cause Edgeward isn't worthy.

I think that a Benoit Edge fued will at least be something fresh and new in the main event scene. Who else besides HHH would be a credible contender for the title thats a heel? According to the report also the WWE is considering leaving the title off of HHH until RR possibly. This is all rumors of course, so HHH could easily get his title back sooner....

I don't know why, but I always predicted a Chris Benoit title win, and a Michaels/Edge tag title win. Edge then goes on about how he did it by himself, so now he's getting a new tag team partner, one better than Shawn Michaels. Cue Edge & Christian reunion.

As for Royal Rumble, why can't WWE build up another heel to hold the World title if Benoit or HBk wins tonight? Oh wait...Hunter has creative control.

bad new, my brother voted for Edge for the main event tonight over 1000 times, so Edge as an extreme advantage of winning, I found out that the votes arn't IP protected cause I voted when he went to bed(before the polls opened) and he voted today, then ERASED is "cookies" and was able to vote again
