9600pro 256mb is around 200 canadian
get the 9600xt if you can afford it though.
the western digital raptors are faster drives, 10,000rpm instead of 7200. Way more expensive, a 74 gig drive costs around 300 bucks if im not mistaken, i'd have to double check the price though.
About $175 each. American.

You have a acheived a 1 ghz overclock?
would that be with a 2.4c?
any cooling issues?
what MB is that on?
Just asking because I have the same P4 and will give it a shot later with a new board. Intel boards I love, but they just dont let you play with them.
2.6 Ghz
Pentium IV
120GB Hard Drive
512DDR Memory
DVD writer
128 Graphis card

Yeah, it's a 2.4c @ 1.6v with no cooling Issues.
I'm running an Asus P4C800 Deluxe mobo
Using a Alpha PAL8942 Heatsink with a Vantec Stealth Fan. Keeps it pretty cool.
Also running Corsair ram.
I'd recommend the Asus P4C800 Deluxe to anyone. Great motherboard.
I've been overclocking for years now, and besides my trusty Epox 8KHA+ and Athlon 1.4 this has definately been my overclocking rig of choice. I haven't pushed it yet, can't really be bothered.
You shouldn't have too many probs overclocking that far with the standard cooler even, I just always take things a little too far :D
