I want you to be castrated with a blunt chopstick so that you cannot breed, because any woman that would be interested in you must be retarded, on top of you being mentally deficient. The child should not have to suffer of the same disease as the parents.

Deperate Housewives is the Number 1 show on television, meaning-

horny milfs=ratings...I KNEW all along milfs would draw ratings, and apparantly I am INDEED correct.

Yeah, men like watching attractive women strut around and act all seductive-like. You have re-invented the wheel, jindrak.

I guarentee that the show would not be as successful had they not featured milfs. While the acronym 'milf' hasn't been directly alluded to, it is obviously suggested. Three of the four featured stars are milfs.

IMO, Teri Hatcher is the hottest, followed by Bri (was anyone else aroused by the red lingerie?), then that blonde chick with the twins.

Lame. It's like watching soft core porn without the payoff, and with kids in it.

It's hard to explain, because there are a lot of storylines going at once. Here's a shot at it, though:

Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher) is divorced and has a teenage daughter. She's infatuated with the mysterious new guy in town Mike Delfino (James Denton). Recently, while house-sitting, she found piles of money and a gun in his cabinets. He also has a map of Wisteria Lane (where all of the show takes place), with handmade markings at most houses.

Edie Britt (Nicolette Sheridan) is sort of the town bicycle. She's also interested in Mike, and has made her intentions very clear. In fact, at one point, Susan went to Edie's house and thought she caught Edie and Mike...y'know...doin' it. She accidentally knocked over a candle or something and set Edie's house on fire, so...

Edie had to move in with Martha Huber (Christine Estabrook), who was a horrible bitch. Martha found out that it was Susan who accidentally burned Edie's house down, and started blackmailing Susan with the information. Turns out, Susan wasn't the only one she'd been blackmailing.

In the pilot, Mary Alice Young (Brenda Strong) committed suicide. Her friends (all of the housewives, minus Edie and Martha) were helping her husband Paul (Mark Moses) pack up all of her belongings when they found a threatening note. Paul hired a private investigator (Richard "Shaft" Roundtree), who found out that the note was written on stationery that Edie was using. He offered to kill Edie for Paul, and was about to do it when he found out that Edie was using Martha's stationery. Paul dismissed the PI, and decided to kill Martha himself. Now she's dead.

Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria) is unhappily married to Carlos (Ricardo Antonio Chavira), and so was having an affair with their young gardener John Rowland (Jesse Metcalfe). Carlos got suspicious, and brought in his mom Juanita (Lupe Ontiveros) to help him find out who she was sleeping with. Juanita caught John and Gabrielle in bed, then ran out of the house...and into traffic. She's in a coma now.

The "Stepfordesque" Bree Van De Kamp (Marcia Cross)'s marriage is crumbling. Her husband Rex (Steven Culp) has moved out, and the kids are torn between them. Rex tried to bribe their son Andrew (Shawn Pyfrom) with a car. After getting thrown out of the house by Bree, Andrew goes out with friends and gets drunk. And, you guessed it, he's the one who hit Juanita. Bree just hatched a plan to ditch the car, and it has apparently worked.

Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman) worked in an ad agency (and was apparently doing very well) before quitting to start a family. Now, her kids are loud troublemakers, and she's taking their ADD medication to try and relieve some of her tension. Now, the medication is keeping her up nights, and she's starting to lose her grip. She contemplated suicide in the last episode, but Susan and Bree convinced her that they had their problems raising kids, too.

Uh... I think that's all the important stuff. I know it looks really soapy and whatever, but the writing is crisp, and the acting is really good (well, of course. It has Felicity Huffman for Christ's sake!). Good stuff.

Oh, and I got all the character and actor names from IMDB. I still haven't got all the names down yet...

I knew when the first previewed the show that it would be HUGE hit.

It feels good being so right.

BTW, Pamela Anderson was orginally asked to play the role of Susan, who is now played by Teri Hatcher, but she refused. I bet she regrets that decision now.

When you're a desperate housewife, it's feast or famine. First Teri Hatcher, 40, complained of having no sex life for years, and now she's had two high-profile make-out sessions in one week. PageSix reports that while the actress was spotted smooching fashion photographer Jim Macari last week, she's been eyed "full-on making out" with 7-foot-tall former NBA star John Salley at L.A. nightclub Chi this week.

A spywitness claims that Hatcher and the co-host of Fox Sports Net's Best Damn Sports Show, Period! strolled into the Justin Timberlake-owned club Monday night. After enjoying some Grey Goose, Hatcher and Salley reportedly got busy on the dance floor to Beyonce's "Crazy in Love." Seriously.

"They were full-on making out," said the tattler. "They were kissing while they were dancing right in front of everyone."

Despite Hatcher's recent macking sessions, she has gone on record that she's looking for more than just hot action these days. "I feel like I'm too old to just have sex," Hatcher told InStyle magazine. "I mean, I want to have sex, but with somebody who really loves and gets me."

LOL John Salley? Their is hope for all of us.

I started watching this show about a month or so ago and now I find it interesting... I'll prob watch it next season if I don't get to busy. Season Finale was great - I always get shows playing right after one show ends cause of the extra channels, so I got to see Family Guy and then Desperate Houswives.

I had not watched it until my GF started asking me to watch it with her. I then continued to watch it with her every week. Not a bad show and there's definitely some MILFS.

I thought season two lost its way fairly early. It got really soapy for most of the season (Bree's drinking problem, the Susan/Edie/Karl triangle, etc.), but the finale reminded me of why the show was so good at first.

DH was always at its best when it was comedy first, then drama. The finale went back to that, so now I'm looking forward to season three. Not as much as I am for 24, Lost, etc., but I'll definitely watch.
