Sunday afternoon at WWE's SmackDown house show in Montreal, D-Von Dudley nearly got physical with a WWE fan. Here is the full story.
A WWE fan was sitting near ringside at the house show and was basically mouthing off, just like many fans do. During the main event, when the Dudleys and others came out for the brawl after the Booker T/Bradshaw main event, the fan, along with many were just chanting things at random. D-Von did his spot in the ring and was kicked to the outside towards the security rail, where the fan was. The fan tapped D-Von on the elbow, just like many fans tap wrestlers on the back when they're near the crowd. Other fans also tapped D-Von (like a tap on the back.) D-Von turns around and tells the fan "Don't f*ckin' touch me." Which was proof that the fan didn't hit D-Von, he simply tapped him on the elbow. D-Von was standing on the outside of the ring and the fan says "Hey D-Von, move I can't see."
D-Von Dudley asked the fan to come closer to the rail and to say it to his face, but the fan just stood there. D-Von kept repeating it, then security came and asked what was going on, D-Von replies "I want the kid to hit me, so I can hit him back." If a fan hits a wrestler, the wrestler has the authority to hit him back, self defense. But the fan didn't hit D-Von and D-Von was apparently fed up with the fan's big mouth and just wanted to a reason to hit him. D-Von snapped and shoved the Bell Centre security and grabbed the fan against the rail and made him go face to face with him. The fan, who's scheduled for back surgery this Friday, due to a car accident from earlier this year, simply told D-Von "Let me go man, my back really hurts, I am scheduled for surgery on Friday." D-Von still had his hands on the fan, then security tried to stop it again. At that point, security grabbed the fan and finally pulled him back. Bubba then came out of nowhere and told the fan "Your mom is a whore."
After the show, many fans were waiting in back of the arena to watch the wrestlers leave. The fan and his friends were at the light waiting to cross the street, while other people were still in front of the arena garage. Suddenly, D-Von stops at the red light and both the fan and D-Von spot each other. The fan yells "What D-Von? What do you want? What are you going to do, you hurt my back?" D-Von leaves his car at the light on the street and rushes out to get in the fan's face, then he started shoving the fan and asking him what he's going to do. The fan told D-Von that he had a bad back and to stop what he's doing. D-Von let go of him, but stayed face to face. A WWE security was also driving and saw this happening, he immediately got out of his vehicle and proceeded to stop the argument/altercation.
Security pushed the fan instead of holding D-Von back. The fan said "You're not allowed to do this." The WWE security said "I'm allowed to do whatever I want." They both went back to their cars and that was it.
It's kind of sad to see that something like that would get to D-Von Dudley. Some say the fan probably deserves it for his big mouth, maybe he does, maybe he doesn't, but the fan never pushed or shoved D-Von and D-Von let words get to him.
A picture was sent in to me yesterday, where D-Von and the fan were face to face. In the picture, you will notice the WWE security guard coming to break it up and you will also notice the vehicles stopped at the light unattended.

Sounds like the fan should shut the fuck up and deal with it. D-Von can do whatever he likes.
$10 says he doesn't have a bad back at all. Probably just trying to milk it.
People will say "well the WWE just lost another fan because of D-Vons attitude". I'm sure the WWE doesn't care.

WTF!
It sounds as iff D'von was trying to provoke this guy.
Lets say the fan said stuff to him IN THE ARENA like "you suck D'von" or whatever.
Is that not a good thing...that the heels are getting heat?
obivously, if he was saying racist comments or attacking someone's personal character, that isn't acceptable, but it doesnt seem like thats the case.
Frankly, IMO, D'von is in the wrong here. I cant see how you can defend his actions

Anyone else laugh when it said that Bubba came out of nowhere and said "Your mom is a whore"? I dont get that, its like "Hey, your moms a whore" ....yeah, shes a whore, what're ya gonna do about it?
I guess Dvon was having a bad night. If that guy was a 5 year old and called Dvon a "Poo Poo Head" would Dvon do the same thing?

LOL What an excuse. He knew D-Von would kick the shit out of him, so he came up with this. If he had a bad back then he wouldn't have been able to stand up and jump around cheering for two hours straight. DICK.

last year at the in house show in london - a kid in front of me touched ( and i really do mean just TOUCHED benoit on the arm as he walked past) - the security guard from the pic above lashed out and really walloped this kid on the forearm with his clenched fist - it wasn't a punch - it was a downward lunge but this kids arm came up straight away - he was probably 13 or 14 - at the end of the show the wwe stars - eddie -torie etc... got this guard in the ring with them and did a dance with him - personally after what i saw my opinion is - HE'S A PRICK

I was not there so I am not going to comment on who is in the right and who is in the wrong. We don't know the whole story so no one can lay any blame. Though, I hear stories how D-Von is a sincere, nice guy so this report on him being an ass for a tap on the elbow smells like shit. Especially since D-Von was in ECW and heard a million times worse and I wouldn't doubt he's been punched before by a fan in ECW.
Just get the duds off my fucking tv..they both seem like uneducated "macho tough guys"..that piece of shit d-von, doesnt he know a paying fan can yell whatever the fuck he wants? And it wasn't even major shit he was taking from the guy. Montreal has vocal fans and all, d-von knew he'd get some sort of response. If he got nuthin, well he wouldnt be doing something right now would he? And how do you know the fan was jumping around? You can have a bad back and still stand..to the dumbass who replied earlier..good lord.
And he was probably smart too..why should he have to fight d-von for doing what every fucking fan does?? Hey d-von, had a bad day, big shit, deal with it, cuz nobody cares.
It's the fan's fault for provoking D-Von with a bad back.

Suddenly you're all siding with some random fan who you know nothing about... He could be a complete and utter cock.

That shit shouldn't really get to D'Von or anyother wrestler. It is stupid to get pissed at what a stupid fan says? There was no need for D'Von to get out and get in his face. Yeah the fan was being a dick and saying stuff, but D'Von overrreacted like a little whiny bitch. It is pretty pathetic for what all these athleits are doing to fans for just screaming words.. (A's player, Dodgers outfielder) I mean for ho wmuch all these pople get paid for them to do that is fuckin dumb.

D-von has thin skin it seems. And Bubba is just a tard of epic proportions. We pay your salary bitch, take what the fans give ya( as long as it aint over the top)

I don't see what the big deal is here, D'Von is a heel in the Dudley Boyz, and that's what the fan was doing, the fan was trying to play a heel vs. face thing in the real world.

I can see D-Von just trying to get the crowd riled up at him. Thats what the Dudleyz are known for, especially in their ECW days.
I hear D-Von is one of the nicest guys in the back, so the fan isn't telling the truth or D-Von thought he said something else.
Honestly I wouldn't go picking a fight with D-Von...look at the picture he's huge.

I really don't know whio could be in the wrong.
The fan could have said something racial to D'von, and D'von might have went apeshit, and perhaps the fan just tapped him and D'Von got all pissy.
Fan: HEY D'VON! NEW JACK OWNS YOU!!!
D'von:
It's sad this happened though.
Hence the thumbs down.

and yes, w/ a bad back, you can still stand up and cheer... well, it depends on how bad the back is ofcourse... but it's not out of question.
unless this guy hit him, or made a racial or personal comment, then D-von was wrong, plain and simple. You don't go after a fan, especially when it's your job to piss them off and get them to hate you.
Just lost a lot of respect for D'Von right there.
I don't see how anybody can be defending him in this situation. He's a professional wrestler, it's part of his god damn job to take shit from fans.

I don't think the fan is telling the whole story. For all we know he could have made a racial slur towards dvon.
Stop bringing up race every time it's a black guy maybe getting the heat from a fan. It's a lame and over-used cop-out that can be used to make d-von look less guilty etc. If some black fan disses on say HHH would we all be bringing up the racist cards? I think not. We have this BS ingrained in our minds.

I dunno.. this whole thing sounds like shit to me. Hell, that pic might have even been staged. D-Von's got one of the best track records in pro wrestling, so this really doesn't sound like him.
Like people have said, maybe it was just a bad, stressful time and he snapped, which in that case, he was wrong, though if you're the fan, why the hell do you mull around and wait for the wrestlers to come out after so there might be another encounter? If the story's legit, both people acted like asses.
Though I don't think D-Von is normally like this. Prolly was just a weird, bad moment.

*insert saying about walking a mile in another's shoes here*
Nobody said that kid did say anything racist, people are saying that if the kid did say something racist he deserves the asswhooping that would follow suit.
Anyway, there is a certain line that fans need to mind. It's one thing to taunt a wrestler or an athlete of any particular sport, it's a whole different ball game when you see that you are legitimately pissing him off and continue to rile him up. IMO, if you are going to be a dick (ie. taking heckling too far), you deserve to get your shit fucked up.
If this guy is dumb enough to annoy a guy much than him that much, knowing he has a bd back, then fuck him.
Bubba then came out of nowhere and told the fan "Your mom is a whore."

Even though I dont know the whole story I still lost a little respect for D'Von. He should know better then to do all that. Maybe what he did to the fan at the arena was ok but outside is a different story. Sure I dont know the whole story but untill we know more my judgement stays the way it is.
When you have many fans heckling you, you have to be a professional 100% of the time. You may be having a bad day or whatever, but you can't go and snap on a fan like that, plain and simple.

Assuming all of this is true, Unless the fan physically attacked D-Von, then D-Von is a massive douchebag for doing that, and that seems almost like grounds for a lawsuit, if D-Von did anything to his back.

Yeah, people would definitely have their camera's out and ready right on the street at an intersection. If it was real and some big muscled up pro wrestler came face to face with you're friend who is having back surgery, I guess the logical thing would be to take a picture instead of backing up you're buddy.

ok Mr. Assumption
Think about it. You are at a wrestling event, you leave, most people have their camera aroudn their neck.
You see D'von in a car, ur camera is in close proximaty, he gets out of his car. By this stage, you have your camera out and ready, he RUNS across the road, so by this time, you have checked your light meter and any other things needed.
You see him standing up to a fan. You rcamera is ready. Oh, but he;'s looking to pick a fight with a fan, i won't take a picture then
secondly, who says ur this guy's buddy? You don't know this guy, why would you be inclined to necasarily help him out.
thirdly, cant you take the picture, then realise whats going on and help him out.
My point, it is hardly unreasonable for someone to take a picture of this incident
Oh yeah that reminds me back in the day my mate and a few of his mates went to one of the UK shows, Insurrextion I think, and they were right near the front, and Shane O'Mac was right in front of them, so they started taking the piss out of him, and he scratched the back of his head but stuck his middle finger up at them whilst doing it. Now thats the way to deal with hecklers

Yeah. Dvon was probably just in a bad mood, willing to start on the next thing that moves.
When I was at insurrextion 2001 in London, I sat front row behind Michael Cole and Paul Heyman! I'm on TV plenty of times for those who have the vhs/dvd (I'm the dude with the short blonde hair and at times I'm wearing a blue nike cap!) Anyway, Triple H was put through the announce table and one guy leant over to touch him, Earl Hebner slapped his arm and said "Don't Touch Him Dammit!" The boy shat his pants ansdsat down instantly, it was so funny!
