Good mic skills and a good wrestler but not exciting. There's a reason why Jeff will always be the popular Hardy and that's because Jeff has an AURA about him Matt don't have.

Matt was great as a heel but suck big time as a face. Anyone can be good as a heel but becoming a successful babyface is the big test.

I personally feel Matt is not as good as people say he is. The guy have alot of work to do. I find it ironic that people say Jeff body won't last but Matt always the injured Hardy.

He definitely set some funny trends with his V1 gimmick, and his Matt Facts made me laugh most of the time. He is pretty solid in the ring, and his mic skills are better than average. If he was pushed properly during the peak of his V1 days, he could have easily contended for the WWE title.

It's not exactly fair to Say Matt Hardy sucks as a face for one simple reason...

His Character, hasn't exactly ever been given a chance to shine thru as a face...He was a Face with the Hardyz, but he was in A Tag Team, that the focus wasn't on him.

And the only other time he's been a face, was the whole Lita/Kane thingy...which of course...the Focus wasn't on him, it was on Lita...

I'm not saying he could be a good face and what not, but he's never been given a chance to shine as a face, so to say he sucks...is jumping the gun.

I'de honsestly say 5, just cause he is injury pron, out more often then Jeff ever was with Injuries.

He would have earned a higher grade from me if this was still back in the day when he moved to Smack Down and his Version 1UHHHHHHHHHHHHH was fresh and the Matt Facts was new. But when he was traded back to RAW and the horrible pregnancy storyline and fact that all he does is hold back in the ring now, played a big factor.

When I say he holds back, I mean he used to have well placed and organized high flying moves/spots that made the fans pop simular to HBK... but now he does not do that. And he's not too great of a ground wrestler, in my opinion. Definitely has desire and passion there because everything he does do is smooth well timed but he really is nothign spectacular without some of his key high flying moves he used to incorporate into his matches.

I love the gimmick, and he's a million times better than I thought he'd be as a singles wrestler. In the Hardy Boyz, I'd probably have given him much less, but he's made vast improvements since their split, and he's definitely better than Jeff.
