View Full Version : MY GOD...I agree with Steph!
From Rajah.com:
Vince McMahon and his daughter Stephanie had a small fall out recently while discussing whether or not to show the Tough Enough contestants taking bad bumps from Big Show. Vince wants to air the footage, while Steph thinks that it would hurt the contestants because they didn’t sell the moves well.

I kind of agree with Vince. We want to show the contestants learning the trade. They don't all learn how to sell properly at first.

how do you want to be a wrestler and not know how to sell a shot from Big Show? I mean, everyone should know how to fall at least. It's not that hard. I swear if I was 6'4 230, I would be trying out for these dam things. These idiots suck.
I agree with Vince... Let them make asses of themselves on national TV... But I see Steph's point in that they should sell something from the Big Show... No excuse not to air it, though, especially in this day and age...

Telling you right now, that Blond guy is winning it.

He reminds me of Val Venis for some reason

They're competing for a million dollars, for fu</>cks sake, I think they should have to show all their stuff. This is a good chance to display how much they learn over the competition.
PS... Was it just me, or did Show seem to be getting tired in the last two slams?
PPS... I think you would have to guarantee me a million dollars to take that fall.
PPPS... I didn't think any of them looked too bad, except the guy who was on his feet a second afterwards.

Yeah, Show seemed to struggle with the black guy and the blonde guy.
But it's impressive when you consider Show was basically lifting 300 lbs. sacks of shit with no assistance.

That blonde twat..i dunno if he was trying to act a character or what but he seemed to be a real cocky little shit, the last 2 guys seemed to be trying to put their weights down to make it harder for him to lift them, had to love the elbow drop and the knee to the chest though, the elbow at least from the look on the guys face didn't really seem to be pre-planned.

Show seemed to be gettin irritated with those two guys cause they tried to stay planted while the others at least gave a little assistance.
Welcome to the WWE you little bastards.
I say the blonde guy that slightly resembles Val Venis is gonna win. It's like they are alreayd tryin to give him a character... the cocky kind of character. Notice how he was hte only one that was mouthin with Show.

I just got done watching the segment over at Tough Enoughs website.....
I thought it was funny when Miz said that is was great to he in Oklahoma and then you hear tazz go ...were in nebraska.
I noticed a few times after Show slammed someone who looked over to Al Snow like he was pissed or something. I think if someone really wanted to impress the WWE people then they should of sold the slam. Atleast act like it hurt your back. Miz did something of the sort but then he shot straight up. I think if theyw oudl of at least sold it a little then it would of been a great segment.
I dont know if I like this whole Tough Enough thing being on Smackdown. Dont get me wrong I like Tough Enough. It was one of my favorite shows and I couldnt wait for them to do it again but now it takes up Smackdown time. I dont watch Smackdown but I know that has to piss some people off. I would rather watch a 30 minute episode of Tough Enough then see like 11 minutes.
So far it seems that Miz and Justice have some fan support behind him. That might be what it takes for them to win it since the fans vote and the people know Miz from real world and Justice was a former model and on that show Dome show thing which was almost just like wrestling.
I agree with Steph. She did need bigger boobs.
Seriously, I agree with her entirely here. It's bullsh</>it to think they can have guys no selling the Big Show's slams and then expect the Angle's and Carlito's to sell them later on the show.

No no no... you've got it all wrong. I was there. Here's how it REALLY went.
So there we were in another meeting. (I was taking out the trash, and decided to take my time so I could hear all of the conversation.)
Vince says: "If we're gonna have Tough Enough, I think we should show these guys learning the business.
Then Steph says: "Yeah, Daddy, but to the Big Show?"
Vince replies: "What's wrong with him?"
Steph: "Well......he's just big and slow. I don't think he's over enough to get the crowd into the whole competition."
Vince: "So you're suggesting that we have these rookies redo the entire segment over again, pretending to not know how to sell?"
Steph: "No, daddy. We can just edit him out like we did with Adam's music, or that little Chinese guy's fall at Wrestlemania."
Vince: "Oh...you mean like when we edited in "Stevie Night Heat" promo footage in for three weeks because it was never written into the tapings?"
Steph: "The stephanie night what footage?????"
Then Vince rolled his eyes and said, "What's your problem with Show anyway? He's the biggest guy we've got."
That's when stuff started getting weird. Steph puts her finger to her ear and stares blankly down at the table and says "I'm sorry, can you repeat that?"
Vince says, "Show's the biggest hoss we've got. Who could possibly be better?"
Then there was this awkward silence where Steph just stared at the table with her finger to her ear nodding her head. I knew Vince realized that the silence was really awkward too, because he turns and looks at me and screams "What the hell am I paying you $5.65 an hour to do? Get back to work!" and so I walked out of the office with the trash.
Then I made my way back to the janitor's closet where I was gonna put my stuff back where it belonged when I open the door, and there's HHH...talking into a microphone. He's saying: "I've heard rumors backstage that Show's been going hard way on guys because his lack of in ring skills makes for awkward matches that appear as though his opponents aren't selling. HHH is the better man. We can just edit his body in for the Big Show's and edit in new footage of the guys OVERselling....."
Then he looks at me and gets this angry look on his face and says "Hey Dipshit! Can't you see I'm in the closet right now? When I'm ready to come out I'll let you fucking know, but until then you're just gonna have to fuck yourself. Ok, buddy?"
And then he gets a suprised look on his face, and he says in the microphone: "Oh shit, not you Sweety! Aw fuck!" and then he slammed the door on me.
So take from that what you will. I'm just the messenger.

Yeah the way they edited everything, it seemed perfectly fine.
Steph won, thats good in this case, but kinda explains why Hunter is still where he is.
