Ouch
Looks like TT did about 165,000 buys.
Its hard to tell exactly because I'm reading a chart, but its significantly lower than No Mercy.
So I think that'll be the end of adding more PPVs.

Or adding them without build-up. I think if they had announced Taboo Tuesday around Summerslam time, the WWE would have been better off because of it. Maybe even give us the candidates before then, and have the polls open before then, but let us register and change our vote sort of thing. Like have Randy Orton as a candidate, but then lose his shot at Unforgiven, so all of a sudden, we have to change who we vote for. Or have Edge gradually turn heel, and the WWE can moniter trends in what works as far as heat goes.
If Benoit had won the title at Taboo Tuesday, DVD buys would have at least been great.

TNA expects 300,000 buys this Sunday. It's a long shot I think. Let's see what Hall and Nash can do for them.

I think the best thing TNA can do is have Scott Hall and Kevin Nash join Jeff Jarret as his new "Elite Guard" type enforcers. I can see a mini-feud between Nash & Hardy, Jeff Jarret, Kevin Nash & Scott Hall and 3 Live Kru, and The Elite Guard/Outsiders and Raven all being interesting developements for the business.

I actually thought TT was promoted really well. They had a lot of the matches set up weeks in advance, they had the big press conference, which they usually dont do for brand exclusive PPVs. And they seemed to mention the show more than they do for a normal PPV.

If they do 300,000 buys I will never post here again.
I would be a bit shocked if they can do 30,000 buys, nevermind 300K.
