I picked up the Eddie Guerrero DVD the other day, and I watched the Eddie vs. Chavo match at Bash at the Beach. I noticed both were wearing T-shirts that said: "Cheat to Win". I always thought the "Lie, Cheat, and Steal" gimmick -- where that's their family motto --- came from the WWE, but it looks like that the Guerreros had a very similar motto in the WCW. Chavo even basically cheats to get out his match with Stevie Ray, which happens before his match with Eddie.
Does anyone know if Eddie and Chavo are actually rehashing the same WCW gimmick? My memory on Guerrero's time in the WCW is a bit hazy.
(On a side note, the cruiserweight division in the WCW must have been where everything was at. The DVD not only includes the Rey/Eddie cruiserweight title match, but also the Eddie/Jericho title match. It's weird thinking of Eddie Guerrero and Chris Jericho as cruiserweights, but there you go.)
