Right, every now and then Window's media player seems to fuck up and I have no idea why. Sometimes, once I have listened to a track/video clip and go to open a new one, it doesn't do it. I click on the files and nothing happens. The computer doesn't even "think" about opening it.

I try clicking on the actual media player and that wont work and going through CTRL+ ALT + DEL - New task doesn't do it either. Nothing at all happens for about 5 minutes then all of a sudden it works again. Any ideas?

I had that for a while.

Tried re-installing it?

Well I recently upgraded from 9.whatever to 10, in hope of sorting it out, but alas it didn't.

Cause I had exactly the same problem a while ago, and I can't for the life of me remember how I got rid of it :-\

Sorry.

I don't like the newer Media player really.

Like the old one better.
