I think the WWE needs to do something new... the rating have dropped laitly... and i think they need to change the story line from the Evolution thing that has been going on... i'm not interestead anymore.
I think Raw whould trade some wrestlers... like Batista for Kurt Angle. batista would fit great into the Taker/JBL headliners. Kurt Angle and HBK would also make a great rivalry... and neither would have to do an event every week.
WWE needs a tag team push also. Remember the days of Headbangers, NAO, LOD, and tons of compedative tag teams? Those days would be great to have back.
I think the title need to change hands on Raw. By title... i mean the BIG CHAMPIONSHIP... since we don't know what to call it. Edge or Y2J would make great champions... not to mention Orton too. HHH, HBK, and Benoit could all still be acvtive in the main event but have more "late stone cold" roles. Let the young guns fight for the strap.
Those are just some of my ideas... and i'm a 9-1 when it comes to Raw-Smackdown.
What does everyone else think could help the WWE?

I would like to see either a third brand or a total redraft. Then actually make the "B" shows like Heat & Velocity mean something.

Interesting... I remember b4 WCW closed... Thunder was being used much like Nitro. Big title matches and everything were on Thunder. I think WWE could push Sunday Night Heat to a higher standard... i think the best Heats are the ones b4 PPV's.

A Re-Draft wouldn't help much though... cuz WWE would still keep the "feuds" together.

Good point. But then again on WrestleMania and the Rumble coming up, we could see a few interpromotional matches. Maybe Heat & Velocity could be used as sort of a "gateway" between RAW & SmackDown!.

Bottom line is guys like Shawn Michaels, Triple H & Undertaker are killing the future stars.
Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker never really got over HUGE with the fans until Hogan, Savage & Warrior were out of the picture. Austin, Rock & Triple H never really got over HUGE until Hart and Michaels left.
It is obvious that the fans reconize Shawn Michaels, Triple H (forcefully though), Undertaker are above anyone else on the roster. While the fans enjoy still having them around (Triple H does not apply but he still gets his fair share of "Triple H" chants) it becomes difficult for the fans to let other new wrestlers get to the same level. Thus, no new HUGE stars will emerge until Shawn Michaels, Triple H & Undertaker are out of the picture.
When Austin and The Rock feuded it was two stars in their prime competing. Now its the already established wrestler V. the newer wrestler. Ex: Triple H V. Randy Orton. The already established wrestler has already peaked so the response is not going to be as great.
The newer star must compete against a fellow newer star who the fans are behind. Ex: John Cena V. Randy Orton
That way they reach their peaks together, thus creating a greater response from the crowd and a overall greater demand for those stars as well.

so... the rating will continue to drop until HHH and HBK are gone... and that might take awhile.
I think if Rock came back it would boost the ratings a lot more too. i just watched the rundown... it's like watching wretsling anyways.

Over the past 3 years guys like Jericho, Benoit, Guerrero, Kane, Booker T & Rob Van Dam should have all had lengthy title runs and great feuds wiyth one another but that didn't happen because the 'old' stars couldn't leave. Triple H is still champion, and don't get me started on 'BikerTaker (it would be like Eugene changing his gimmick to being normal and then going back to being retarded 2 or 3 years later) or Austin still kicking the rookies ass every night as the Sheriff.
Its too bad because the guys like Jericho, Benoit, Kane, Guerrero, Booker & RVD suffer because now the WWE wants to create the new stars. Stars like Orton, Cena, Benjamin, Dupree, Carlito. So those guys are going to get the BIG championship and face each other during their peaks.

Way to say the same stuff we've been talking about for the last TWO YEARS!

That's a very good post. You make an excellent point as well. I don't mind seeing Triple H on TV, but we haven't really seen a cycle of champions since RAW split from SmackDown!, and we've just seen Triple H swap with guys. Triple H is the only multiple World Heavyweight Champion in the WWE.
Once guys like Booker T, RVD, The Big Show, Kurt Angle, JBL, Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, Kane and maybe Batista have come as replacements for Triple H/Shawn Michaels/Undertaker, etc. we can finally see new starts like Carlito Caribbean Cool, Muhammad Hassan, John Cena & Randy Orton reach true superstardom.

But now's the time to say it, because the WWE seems to be going in a new direction.

^ It won't last. We've seen teases of "new direction changes" in the past, and where has that gotten us?

The thing about it is Triple H is a constant, we're not getting get of him, he's going to be in the main event picture for the next 5-10 years (unless he gets hurt or divorced).
With that in mind, I think they should turn him babyface. Most arenas cheer like crazy when his music hits, and you know he's always going to be pushed like a monster. So why not go back to the old (and successful) WWE formula of building around a dominant babyface?
The other thing I would do is re-unify the 2 world titles. I dont think either title is very meaningful at this point, and that has a lot to do with the fact that there are two instead of one world title in the company. I know they are trying to create an illusion of having two separate companies, but NOBODY sees it that way. So why fight it?
I do like the brand extension because it forces you to use more guys and it keeps guys from getting stale quick. But I also feel it wouldn't hurt to do more trades and angles where one guy shows up on the other show out of nowhere.
Those are the major things. Dont know how much they would help, but what they are doing now isn't working, so.
