I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but I was watching RAW Friday Night, and it came to Edge's backstage interview. Chris Benoit interupted and stared him down. Edge grabbed one of the Tag Title Belts off of Chris' shoulder.

Did anyone else notice that the nameplate read Renee Dupree? I mean, if the World title changes hands they keep the defenders name on it, why can't they do it for the tag titles?

I thought to myself, "I bet Benoit and Edge lose". And I won. 10 quid.

If anyone taped this weeks RAW, watch it and look out for it.

I was trying to read the nameplate too, I saw a 2-word name, so I figured he just grabbed Chris's belt instead of his.

Also, Evolution....

Shut up you ignorant ass.

I noticed it right away.

It obviously wasn't Rene Dupree, since he's on SD.

But yeah I could tell it didn't say "Chris Benoit" and it definately didn't say "Edge". I think it was Sylvain Grenier, but it could have been Conway just as easily.

Anyway thats just big time laziness on the WWE's part. I mean obviously they knew the switch at the PPV was a short term deal, but how much effort does it take to switch up the name plates?

Maybe, just MAYBE, since there was debate over whether or not Edge was going to be Benoit's partner, they didn't change it for storyline reasons. If anyone can see if the other one says "Chris Benoit", then I must be right.

But then you would take off La Res' name plates, they lost, that was never in dispute. So there goes that logic.

Did anyone notice that the World Title always has "Triple H" on it no matter who has it? :shifty:

Legend has it is isn't a name plate, but an inscription. :shifty:

I suppose there might be an "Unwritten Storyline Law", that says to get the name changed, you actually have to take the belt there personally. So BEnoit got his changed because he went to Titan Towers or whereever, but Edge didn't because he didn't want to show up.

Who thinks it would have been cool for both titles to read "Chris Benoit", sort of as a message to Edge saying he may officially be the champion, but Benoit's the tag team.

BTW, I think that the title Edge took belonged to Sylvain Grenier.
