I thought Return of the King was the best as it brought all of the storys together and an end, and didnt lack charector development, like in Matrix Revolutions. I liked the fellowship better than the two towers, but i felt that return of the king had a good mix of both story and action sequences.

I think Fellowship wasn't necessarily the best, but it's my favorite. Mainly because of not knowing what to expect and being left completely in awe throughout the entire thing. Also I'd say Fellowship is a much more visually appealing film than the rest. I'm not talking about fight scenes or anything, I'm talking about scenery. It seems they cover so much more ground in the first movie. In TTT all you see is swamps and such for Frodo and Sam, then open battle fields for the rest. It's all somewhat dull. The same holds true for ROTK, its all battle fields and rocky surroundings.

Fellowship for me. I'm big into story telling and character development.

I like big battle scenes and stuff too, but not over the former.

Return of the King. It's my favourite book out of the three and my favourite movie consequently

The Fellowship of the Ring. I enjoy introductions, and seeing how the plot will develop moreso than how it's concluded.

They were all VERY good but my favorite out of the 3 is The Return of The King, I loved the way they built up Gollum's character at the beginning, as someone else said Minas Tirith looked awesome, The Action was off the chart better than The Two Towers, I also loved the way they did Mount Doom.

So did the extended version of the Two Towers. :p

I've still not seen Fellowship, so I'm not sure if I'd go for it over the Two Towers.

Two Towers was the best because it had most of the progression development.

:| yes, a 1 hour battle seen sure helped the movie move right along.

FOTR, because it was simply stunning, and I loved the fellowship when they were together. Also, Boromir rules all sorts of ass.

ROTK is a close second.

And the movie was, after all, only 60 minutes long. :|

Fellowship

They were all good and I can see why people would choose part 2 or 3.

I think the first one is the best because it was a completely new movie. They introduced the characters, and the storyline. The battles weren't too big, and not too boring. Overall I think it was the best.

ROTK.

It has something we all need. Closure.
