View Full Version : THQ should make a WWE Legends Game

One of the big reasons I'm playing Smackdown vs. RAW right now is to unlock all the legends in the game. I was thinking what it would be like if THQ made a WWE Legends game by itself since THQ did an excellent job with the legends in SvR this year with the moves sets, entrances, appearances, and themes.

It could have a lot of the features of HCTP and SvR such as Create a PPV, Create a Belt, stables, all the types of matches, classic arenas, and some kind of season mode (haven't thought of what that would be like yet).

The roster could compose of stars from the eighties to the Attitude Era. Hell maybe the game could go back to the sixties or seventies too.

I think it would sell really well since THQ is the mainstream franchise for wrestling games, and most people prefer the gameplay of all the Smackdown games over others. And a lot of the old school WWE fans would be interested even if they don't watch wrestling anymore.

Post your thoughts/suggestions for what should be included in the game if it were to happen.

It will probably never happen, what with WWE suing THQ.

Even if they somehow did, only smarks and old guys would be interested anyway.

Nevermind the hell they'd have to go through to get the rights to use all the legends' likeness.

I dunno if it would sell that well :-\

It's nice to have as a side feature in the WWE games, but I dunno if it would work that well by itself

I'd purchase a THQ Legends game. I'll take the 80's/early 90's wrestlers over any current talent.

it may sell well.. not as well as the current WWE games but it'll sell.

I think I would also like the DoR engine rather than the smackdown engine though.

That's what Legends of Wrestling is for. It's a great concept, but shitty execution. If they put it on the SmackDown! engin, though, they'd have something.
