I think this is a great opportunity to get Carlito even more over than he was before.

Remember when Bret Hart was US Champion in WCW after leaving the WWF? He got injured, but instead of having him drop the title, he would defend it just in time to make the deadline, and he would be able to continue on as champion while injured.

This is the thing to do with Carlito Cool. Although Tazz and Cole let the fans know that he is seriously injured and needs surgery, Cool plays it off "cool" on the air and pretends that everything is fine. He stages matches where he loses by DQ or screwjob, and keeps the belt. He would only have to defend three times during his three month absence, and that alone would piss off the fans and get him more over.

Whatever they do, its a shame. Fuck Bob Holly. I know why he wasn't fired with all the other WWE hacks though. It goes all the way back to 1993.
