I don't know why, but I just hated that shit. It sounds too smart for the average wrestling fan... hell, the average American.

I don't know. Illogical adjectives like this really add to the name. Although it could be argued that "Adorable" Adrian Adonis was anything but adorable, and "Handsome" Harley Race was leaning toward the ugly side of the scale, it helps project the image that they're either delusional or absolutely full of themselves. :)

I'd have to go with Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat. Not because it's such a bad name, but more because the WWF thought it would be cool if he could breathe fire :nono:

He called himself bionic because of all the metal strapped to his body in his later years. His knees were going to hell and he had the fused disks in his neck. If anyone could be called "bionic" it'd be him.

It also didn't hurt that the Six Million Dollar Man was named Steve Austin.

Steven Regal. It's not I don't like Regal, and I love the name William Regal, but there's just somehting about "Steven" that makes the name less Regal, IMO. I also dislike the name Bob Holly. I just think Holly could have been changed to something more manly.
