Um...I know there's already a RAW 11/8 thread, but...was anybody else simply bored during the opening match? I wasn't interested one iota. I dunno, maybe it was the NyQuil...but I was kinda hopin' it would end really quick. ...Which it did not.

Yeah, i thought the match flat out sucked

I found it semi-boring. I mean I don't want to see Batista beat down and chinlock Randy Orton for most of the match. I want competetiveness.

I mean I've got nothing against the heel dominating for a bit but when it lasts that long....

I really liked the match. Batista is getting some good psychology to him, and will make a credible heel champ in a year or two (or as soon as they move him away from Evolution, or move him onto an updated version of the stable).

The match told a good story about how Batista is the stronger one, and he had the superiority in OVW, and he wants to maintain that on RAW and Orton only managed to beat Batista by rolling him up.

I think a better ending for the match would have been for Dave to kick out of the school boy, only to get whacked with an RKO.

Yeah that ending would've ruled. I was bored through out the match though, don't recall too many wrestling moves, and the crowd was dead as fuck. And why was there no fireworks or people cheering when the show started? Over here they just went straight to the triple h/bischoff promo, i hate it when they do that.

I liked the match. It had good psychology and it really picked up at the end. Totally by the books match in some ways, but you can't expect much more than that on a Raw...

I thought it was a great opener. That is why I want to watch RAW on Monday so I can see great matches like that

Batista did okay in the match, but Orton was horrible. All he did was punch and do the RKO.

I thought it was extremely dull. I don't really care much for either of the two, so I wasn't really surprised, but I do think it was stupid to give it so much time.

Yeah, all I saw were punches and chin locks the entire match. WTF?

Could it be that people are finally realizing that Orton needs someone to carry him to a good match?

Nah, he's a god.

Ive enjoyed 2 orton matches, the hardcore one against foley, when he got tossed onto the thumbtacks i was in fits laughing, and any match against flair. Aside from that i find him to be a boring cocky looking little cunt.

I liked the match, but I dont think they should be having those long matches on TV anymore. That would have been better suited for a PPV.
