We have a bit of a paradox here. We have two characters who are encouraged to avoid conflict at all cost. Though they always fail if their games are any indication, we should take their meeting in a different angle to compliment their style. So here it is.

There is a secret terrorist cell in downtown Chicago called The Black Cells. The Black Cells were formed by an ex-military soldier, George Kerry, who was psychologically marred by horrific events in war. The Black Cells formed up in Iraq, then recruiting 20-somethings fresh from boot camp by way of China and Spain. After training in 11 locations around the world, they would take an inner census that kept numbers of members and weapons. George Kerry, using inside cells he was still cool with, obtained WMD information through a crypted network from the Pentagon itself. These WMD files featured strange blueprint drawings of a large walking tank. George Kerry went right away with the construction of this machine right under the Black Cell's stronghold in downtown Chicago. The WMD document also featured weapons information on top secret offensive and defensive applications George Kerry knows would go for top dollar on the black market.

Solid Snake:
Philantropy has gotten wind of the construction of a new Metal Gear in North America. Always nosey about all things Gear-ish, Snake goes out to downtown Chicago on the outskirts of what appears to be the Black Cell's hold. He must get those files on the new Metal Gear at all cost. Snake must also get an ID on George Kerry and all his business cohorts that are prepped for a special buyer's meeting in the Black Cell's stronghold. And if possible, destroy what little of the Metal Gear is constructed.

Sam Fisher:
Sam is charged with a mission after Third Echelon hears that top secret WMD files were passed through Pentagon networks. The signal was traced to a man named John Bush, a top computer wiz who resigned from high clearance technical work in the government. Reportings also linked John Bush to an area in Downtown Chi-Town where he was followed by ShadowNet spies. Now Sam Fisher must infiltrate this secret hold and obtain or destroy all Pentagon WMD paper work.

Two infiltration experts, relatively same goal. They won't be friends when it comes to who gets those files; so how will it play out?

My take is that Sam Fisher will get to the papers first, if he isn't bothered by weird knocking noises coming from around the corner. Snake's always preoccupied with some other drama to ever do a mission straight on through.

Sam Fisher gets captured snooping, while the Black Cell guards pass by the not so suspicious looking cardboard box...
