Basically I hated the main event. Anyone who actually thought Maven was going to win needs their head examined, and HHH basically single handedly beat Jericho, Benoit and Maven. I guess the good news is that he needed basically even odds to beat those 3 plus Orton.

Really liked the E+C stuff, but it was odd that they didn't mention they are brothers. JR kept calling them partners, maybe now E+C are NOT related. Wierd things happen in WWE over time. I'm actually interested to see where this deal goes (which means it will go nowhere).

I also like that they seem to be teasing a Batista face turn. I wouldn't mind seeing them keep Evolution alive, but as a babyface faction (Orton/Flair and Batista).

Lita-Molly....poor Molly. Trsih still rules though. Actually, in fairness to Lita, I like their program. Its just too bad it has to end with Lita not only wrestling, but taking the title from Trish.

In one way it would be logical for him to drop the title (likely in the 4th week when Orton is in charge), because he's a heel and he shouldn't be able to go through the entire babyface side (minus Orton) of the roster.

Then if you had say Jericho take the title (I would guess Orton will book HHH in a 4 way with Maven, Benoit and Jericho after HHH beats them all individually), then you could have HHH get the title back at the NYR PPV in January.

On the other hand, since they already booked HHH like superman tonight, they might as well make him seem invincible again, and then 'try' to make it seem like a big deal when orton beats him at mania. In the meantime they could do the Flair face turn (or Batista) and have them fued with HHH through the Winter. Either that or Kane, who in theory should be hot when he comes back.

I hate the gimmick, its so forced and lame. Nothing against Nova, but I just dislike the gimmick, and I've tried to like it.

Damn, I must have kept everyone away last week. I wasn't on the thread tonight, due to going to a friends house, then getting the new WWE CD afterwards.

But one hell of a RAW nonetheless. Maven's run as GM went well. Main event was confusing as the faces got away with things like the heels would, but the heels were always caught like the faces would be. Even though I knew HHH would win anyways, there were actually a few times that I thought Maven was gonna win this thing.

Eugene/Regal winning the tag titles was cool, even if their big chance did get blown after the RAW in England. And of course, we had the Eugene celebration with Nesquik.

Lita seems alot better as a psycho.

I was even excited for the E&C reunion, even though it was short lived. We even got a version of the 5 second pose.

Simon Dean was hilarious once again. Who needs the Simon System?

I didn't even mind him winning, but the way it happened bothered me more.

He took Jericho's finish.....kicked out, then took Benoit's finish and....kicked out. So basically he made those guys seem ineffective and weak. And of course Maven seemed like a little bitch because of course he couldn't possibly beat HHH on his own.

But I'm just kidding about hating it, because I love HHH now, so it was......THE GREATEST RAW OF ALL TIME!

My God that was a killer RAW. Hats off to Maven for making his best appearance on RAW yet. And that was Candace towards the beginning? Yeah, they made a big mistake not letting her advance to the finals.

About Orton though, because he'll be the GM does that mean he can override that clause that he can't get a shot at the title as long as HHH is champion? Cannot wait till next week

Thats a good point. Even though the decision was made by HHH and Orton, the GM has to be the one to make it official. So you would think, since Orton will become GM, that he could override that stipulation.

They already mentioned that Orton cant get a title shot. Maven even said on the show yesterday that he was questioning whether Orton would help Maven win to help Maven or to help Orton, because if Maven was World Champ, then Orton could get a shot.

My guess is that Orton's big booking decision will be to put HHH in a 4 way match. I'd also assume when Bischoff gets back they'll set up a scenario for NYR where Orton has to beat someone like Batista in order to get into the Rumble.
