Vlad deserved it, but I wouldn't have complained for Sheff or Ortiz.

I won't complain about Vlad at all, there were strong cases that could be made for any of the guys, but really Vlad probably did deserve it the most. What was the order of the runners up?

Oh yeah, now that Vlad is on the angels you all recognize eh? Fact is Vlad has the most talent in the league bar none, and he's been this damn good for years. His health was just better this time around.

Vladdy is the fucking man, has been from the start. Talk about your arods and nomars and manny's..they dont compare to Vlad.

I am a huge Expos fan.

IMO, if stats don't make an MVP Shef would have less of a chance. Maybe he did, but I honestly don't think that he alone held the Yankee's afloat this season.

Nah he played with the season with a broken hand and really carried the Yankees man. Jeter, A-Rod, Matsui, none of those guys can carry their own weight at all. Good thing Shef was on the Yanks, if he wasn't, they would have been terrible.

I am just glad to see Manny and Ortiz both up there, best 1-2 punch in MLB in a long, long time.

I wouldn'tve gone for Manny or Ortiz mainly because they were both so formidable, can't see how either was less important than the other.

The Angels wouldn'tve been awful without Vlad, but his absence woulda made more of a difference to them than any of the others IMO, so i guess he does deserve it.
