Leave it to Michael Buffer to try and make a match look really important.

Did I hear Mike Tenay call Show at 7'4" and 550lbs?

I like how he has gotten shorter and thinner over time, but he is obivously fatter.

Jesus christ how low were wcw's ring ropes? I know the overall ring was smaller in size but the top rope is at shows waistline just about. Not a bit of wonder some of the bigger guys didn;t run into the ropes as much, probably afraid of falling over them.

*majorly marks out* Oh shit, that brings back memories of when I was first starting to watch. (I really only started watching in mid-1998). And Goldberg was the first wrestler I was ever a mark for.

Back then I was only like 9 so I didn't get to stay up for all of Nitro, so I didn't see that as it was happening. :( But I remember seeing the clips for that on the next Thunder and being all

Michael Buffer gave a fantastic sense of occasion to the main events. WWE should try and steal him from UFC.

old times are always good times. Bring us the Nash vs. GOldberg match from Starrcade. It wouldn't be nice to give us the preview to the match then leave us hangin now would it.

Whoa... that was sweet! How much did Wright weigh at the time? That's still a pretty damn impressive Jackhammer.

And shit, the crowd was HUGE into the match! You don't see that in wrestling these days anywhere. Good times!

This makes me sad. WCW was sooo great. If I remember, this was a specieal Tuesday Nitro.

And holy crap that crowd was so into it. That match should have been longer though.

Now I'm sad. I miss big moments like this.
