Hey yo, welcome back to RTW, and it is Day 88. Yesterday, Batista got some pretty mixed reviews and pulled an 80, which isn't bad, considering he's only been in the WWE for a little less than 2 years. Today, we have a legend, a hardcore legend in Terry Funk for your rating pleasure. As most of you know, he is a former NWA champion and a former ECW champion. He's also held a few other titles, but I am not exactly certain what they are. Tomorrow, we'll have "The Franchise" Shane Douglas, since I'm too lazy to put up another poll, he had the next most votes and his name comes before Sabu alphabetically.

Happy voting.

Heyman said it best, instead of old guys clinging to their top spots in companies, Funk helped make new stars.

That will be up to Helmsphere, since he'll take over on Friday.

Terry in his supposed "old age" could / can wrestle circles around 85-90% of guys who are younger than him. Every single time Terry was listed on a card, or came out, you knew you were going to get your money's worth right then and there.

Even more than him being a "hardcore legend", he's definitely a great WRESTLER, and a hell of an entertainer as well. Terry is a total package (not to steal from Luger), and definitely gets overlooked a lot - mostly because the majority of his time was not spent working for McMahon.

Also, would it be possible for me to suggest a wrestler to rate at some point?

If so - could we consider either Greg "The Hammer" Valentine or Sammartino?

Unfortunatly he's managed to piss all over his own legacy by still working.

And i have to admint I lost respect for him as he's come out of retirement 3 times.

i'm gonna give him an 8, it would and should be higher if the last 7 years hadn't happened

7.8, he is hardcore but yeah, I've seen too much of him in the last couple of years and he's really been slacking. But hey, I rather see him than Flair.

I admire his love for the sport, but the number of times he has retired, and come out of retirement, has tainted the 10 I could have gave him.

9.5 for the man. From his feud with Flair in NWA to his older days, he always amazed me.

Nah you dick. I will fight you.

I'll give him a 9 for his perseverence, love for wrestling, and his willingness to put guys over for the good of the promotion.

-1 for being an old washed up hasbeen though lol

I just saw the later half of his career in ECW, WWF, and WCW, and he was never spectacular in those roles. I don't care if he was a legend or whatever, he never really put on a match that I marked out for.

I don't think there has ever been any wrestler who has adapted with the times so consistently, he was/is a great old school and technical wrestler, but when the "hardcore" era came into play(especially with Japan and ECW) he completely changed his style and made hardcore wrestling better by mixing it with old fashioned story telling. A true legend, therefore : 10
