I'm watching TNA right now and I was under the impression that Sting was here now.

So what's the deal, was it a one time thing or something?

Also, WTF are they doing to Shane Douglas?

I think Sting was a one-shot thing. He did a couple of PPVs and left.

I don't know what's up with Douglas. Maybe he retired (he was a bit injury-prone in the last few years)? He makes a pretty good interviewer, though.

I think he's retired or taking a break. A little while back he wanted to get out of wrestling to spend more time with his family so that's probably it...

In an interview Sting said he did a couple of TNA shows just to repay Jerry Jarrett for helpling him break into the buiness.

Yeah, Sting was just a part-time thing with TNA. Never say never to him maybe doing a few more shots in the future though, depending on how TNA does. With Savage and Nash and Hall and Page all back, it makes it a possibility.

Sting's working on a few projects of his own, and stays busy with appearances and all of that - usually religious based things through churches and stuff. He, Nikita Koloff & Ted DiBiase make quite a nice living doing basically nothing.

No.
Why not?

he's pretty much the only other Name left that Vince could sign that would be a new face (with the exception of Savage, but i don't think that's possibility)

Weather Sting would want to is another matter, but if Vince had the chance to I'm sure he would.

I've always wanted to see Taker vs Sting as they both seemed to have similar roles in each company

That would be a terrible match.

Maybe like ten years ago, yeah, but not now.

If it was 1997 it would be great, but now it's too late.
