Got back from a RAW House Show a little while ago in Detroit. It was held in Cobo Arena, instead of the usual Joe Louis due to the fact that Cobo is a smaller arena. I bought the RKO/Destiny shirt, and Word Life chain. But there was a very limited selection to choose from.
Justin Roberts was the main announcer, but a few times Christy did ring announcing. Matches were:
Tajiri defeated Tomko with a rollup. Simon Dean defeated Rosey using the low blow. Victoria pinned Molly following the Widows Peak. Coach then came out to complain about what happened to him on RAW. He then made fun of Detroit, which led Rhyno coming out and beating the crap out of him. It turned into a match, and Rhyno won with the Gore. We also had an IC Title rematch, where Shelton pinned Christian again following the T-Bone. Tomko tried to interfere, but ended up costing Christian the win.
Intermission
Back with a Tag Title rematch, La Resistance v Eugene/Regal. Usual fun from Eugene. Usually in Detroit, theres a guy that dresses up as Hulk Hogan. Eugene took his bandana and wore it for most of the match. Even impersonating Hogan during the match. Eugene and Regal eventually retained.
Edge v Maven was next. Crowd seemed to be mixed on Edge. He would make fun of Detroit, and the crowd would boo. But they cheered him whenever he would get offense. Edge would win with the spear.
Final match was Batista/HHH v Chris Jericho/Randy Orton. No clear cut heels with the crowd, as they seemed to love everybody. Match went on for a good 30 minuted before Orton hit the RKO on HHH to win.
