LOL we were doing this story game by playing telephone in my children's lit class and some shit came up about the elements or rings or some shit...I ended up being the last person and I tied the whole story up by using Captain Planet :D

Captain Planet was cool in that he had all these pop culture references for jokes, imitating celeberties, saying movies phrases, etc. Strangely enough, the show didn't teach me a bloody thing about keeping the earth clean, I just thought the main hero kicked ass. And the two part Captain Pollution story line is THE EVENT of the show, followed closely by Caps meeting with Adolf Hitler; who's evil was so strong it made Cap weak. I loved it.

New episodes please.

They still show Captain Planet at like 5 in the morning on Cartoon Network. I was watching it the other day, and I could not remember why I used to love the show so much. It really isn't very good. Heart was the biggest fag in the history of fagdom.

And the CORRECT call order is...

EARTH!
FIRE!
WIND!
WATER!
HEART!

The crappy thing about it every time was that Heart had to save their asses every other episode.

Bad Guys: Ha ha ha! We've stolen your rings so you can't call on captain planet!
*Good guys look pitiful*
Bad Guy A: You know what will be a laugh? If we let one of them have one of their rings back and see if he can help them escape.
Rest of the Bad Guys: Ok, we'll give the Heart ring back because it's worthless!
*Heart kid gets ring back and uses it to give the other rings their powers back. Bad guys run in fear.*

Seriously, though. I used to imagine that I had a ring too. I was like the sixth guy in the group. My power was to make things explode for no reason. I always imagined myself to be the team member who was teetering on the edge of being evil and the other planeteers had to be real careful about what they said to me or I'd blow their heads up for no reason. Good times...

I'm too young to remember it,I think.I used to have a tape I got for my 5th or 6th birthday that I watched once that had Capt. Plant on it.
I think it looks crap to be honest.
