The Answer

I mean it's basically the whole locker room against Evolution next week. Obviously everyone is going to gang up on him,do you guys actually see the championship switching hands at a Raw event?

It's a Battle Royal, everyone is gonna gang up on HHH, who will probably duck under the ropes and run (a la Vince McMahon during the Royal Rumble), and then come back after 8976456976 other guys have been eliminated and pull a Honky Tonk Man to retain.

What I think would be good is if Edge won the battle royal. Then the next week Jericho beats Edge for the heavyweight title. Then HHH wins it back at one of the PPV's in January.

True, but I would like it if it did happen.

if not, the monday after
honestly why else would they make Y2J the last GM, especially since Benoit has main evented more (recently), and Orton was made to be the "leader" of the team, yet Y2J is the last one up.
if Y2J does win, i hope its' one on one with the game not in the battle royal otherwise we'll get a lot of
Triple H: JERICHO, JERICHO, JERICHO (repeat 50 times), You Did not Beat me one on one! It took the entire Roster for my belt to change hands, you're nobody Jericho (repeat same basic idea 20 times with different words) and I want a rematch
and at the next payperview, the match starts, Jericho bends over, puts his 2 arms in that fatal position and jumps, losing the title
riiiiiight, anyway what I think will happen is Triple H will offer Orton the original match where the fact that he can't challenge for the title is lifted if he wins. IF that does happen and orton wins, Y2J better not be nice and give Orton a title shot when he's GM :foc:

I'm guessing that HHH finds a way out of it, probably what McMahon did at the Royal Rumble or something along those lines
The only chance that the title has of changing hands is on the last GM, I mean they couldn't just give all that hype only to have it culminate on the third week.
which is why i really think Jericho will win it, and can't wait for the 13 goddam days till he does to go by!
i remember someone on here having Jericho wearing the world title in HCTP in their sig
it might be a reality within 13 days... sniff..

eneguE will the title. Prove.. me.. wrong!
Seriously now, I want Jericho to win, but HHH is more powerful than 20 other men.. for some reason.. so he will win instead. And if not, then I think Captian Charisma will take it! WHOO!
the christian coalition has about the same chance as winning as Viscera

triple h will just jump on top of the glass ceiling and then lower it forcing everyone else to eliminate themselves..... :shifty:

I really hope we see a title change on RAW in the next few weeks. I'm not too sure about the Battle Royal, but I can think up a few scenarios that the WWE could take.
Scenario 1
It comes down to Triple H & Batista. Both men have eliminated a fair few, and Triple H is begging Batista to eliminate himself as Batista looks at Triple H with psychotic eyes. Batista then starts jumping up and down as I would presume the fans would be going wild. Then we see Batista get a grip of himself and throw himself right over the top rope telling himself they he needs to stay in Evolution. Triple H retains, and another Batista face turn is teased. Of course they could have Batista win the World Heavyweight Title, and then maybe lose it at New Year's Revoultion or the Royal Rumble.
Scenario 2
Edge or Christian wins. I can dream. These two brothers have recently re-established their heat, and if Christian won the World Heavyweight Title before Edge did, you'd have a GREAT feud right there. If Edge won it, it'd just be Edge winning, and we could have some kind of multi-man match at New Year's Revolution.
Scenario 3
Triple H is eliminated early on. Think about it. Steven Richards over the top. Sylvain Grenier. Triple H! A new World Hevayweight Champion confirmed. The actual eliminated could take place later in the match, but the confirmation of a new World Heavyweight Champion would be great. I can picture Orton running to the ring and beating down Triple H then just chucking him out. Someone like Jericho, Benoit, Batista or Shelton Benjamin could win the title. Maybe even Ric Flair if they wanted to tease a complete Evolution break-up.
Scenario 4
A jobber champion. Maybe have Val Venis, Rhyno, Tajiri or Steven Richards actually win the match, the drop the title to Jericho in a match on RAW the next week, then we have build-up to whether or not Triple H deserves a rematch. I would be just happy seeing the final three come down to Triple H, Val Venis & Rhyno in this match.
Scenario 5
Randy Orton wins. I'm not sure how they could do this, but I can see Orton winning the match, maybe with help from Ric Flair & Batista.

Like everyone else said I think HHH will just duck around and survive or whatnot.
I can only think of a couple of scenario's on how this match will go.
1. H hides til the end and comes out on top
2. Everyone goes for H, but they all end up attacking each other because they all want to eliminate him and all want to walk away with the title.
3. H actually does well in the match and makes him look more like an unstoppable champion.
I figure 1 is going to happen and I also figure he wont drop the strap at all this month to any of the stand-in gm's. If 3 happens I cant figure a way for the writers to have him actually be beaten 1v1 by jericho the next week. If he survive's the battle royal by just surviving and not hiding, I wouldnt be able to believe that anyone could beat him in a 1v1. Surviving 30 guys and then losing to 1 guy would not be believable, but the WWE does dumb shit all the time and hardly ever do anything credible. 2 is credible because the situation happens all the time with triple-threats and whatnot. It has to be scenario 1 for everything to be logical and believable
I think he will just win everything they put him up against by using his "brain" and being the "cerebral assassin".
What I cant stand to think about though, is if H does survive after the 4th week and if no one has won, he is going to get on the mic and be like "blah blah blah, I still have my title, blah blah blah no one can beat me". What a drull moment.....

To the people who said that everyone's gonna start fighting each other because they'll all want the title, I don't think that's exactly how it would go. It would be against some of their characters (remember Jericho and Benoit cheating tooth and nail to help Maven win?) I actually have a feeling that HHH will be eliminated pretty quickly if at all.
That probably won't happen next week, but that would be a great feud for next year because Edge will probably win the World title some time next year.
Let's say Edge defeats Orton, who's a babyface, for the World title; and Xtian turns face and says that he was the better brother and that title should have been his. There's a great title feud, and a huge push for both E&C.

He might pull a Jerry Lawler. I bet it'll come down to him and Batista, Batista will "eliminate" HHH, but HHH will hop around on just one foot, come back in, and then eliminate Batista from behind.

Oh yeah, and hopefully the above will start a real feud between the two. Even though Triple H will win yet again.

I can see the Triple H surprises Batista thing happening. Then Chris Jericho books Batista vs. Triple H non-title, followed up by a submission match between him and Triple H.

<font color=goldenrod>I seriously hope he doesn't retain.
Although knowing the WWE, he probably will. Then Orton will have some sort of handicap placed on him in the Rumble and he'll end up winning it and then win the belt after a predictable road to WM.</font>

I say Trips is eliminated early on then in the final few people he comes back in and assaults everybody with his hammer, leaving them lifeless and not able to win the match. So the next week on RAW with be the final few in a Triple Threat match for the championship in which Trips retains.
This way it will make everybody think that there will be a new champ no matter what...

I can see them doing something as lame as having triple h handcuff himself to the bottom rope or something, he may get a shit kicking but he sure as hell can't be tossed over the top rope.

I would mark out so much if Rhyno won it, but I doubt it would happen. If they had been mildly building him up, having him in the IC title hunt, then the possiblity of that happening would be good. But, seeing as he isn't, he wont be winning it :'(

HHH will do what Road Dogg did 3 years ago in the rumble (the same rumble Moolah showed...) and just lay down and hug the ropes the whole time.

I want to see him retain, so he'll lose the title at RAW IS JERICHO!
Triple H is gonna retain. It's hard enough to get him to job at a PPV, let alone RAW?

<font color=cyan>Here is what I hope will happen.
HHH gets gang raped by Viscera and Rosey, while the others toss him out. Let's see a 5 month title reign from someone who you wouldn't expect. Steven Richards, Xtian, Rob Conway, or even Maven. Let them go on a story line and say "Oh, I knew I was the best!" Next week when Raw Is Jericho, Jericho gives himself a title shot (or a triple threat title match with Jericho, Orton and Steven Richards) and have the Mid Card Champ win it fairly. Week after that, HHH says he wants that mid carder in a cage. Once again, Steven Richards wins fairly.
I mean, hell, if they could give CCC a title on his first match...
Anywho, here's what I think will happen... HHH, Batista, Jericho or Orton will win.
HHH- Keeps title, loses ratings.
Batista- Turns face, fueds with HHH
Jeircho- Books a Number One Contender match next week between HHH and Orton
Orton- Now here's where things pick up a bit. Orton cannot win the title from HHH, so right after the battle royal Vince comes down to the ring while HHH is bitching, points that out, and then lifts the "<strike>Nobody</strike> Orton can't win the title from HHH" thingie. Next PPV, Orton VS HHH in a "gimmick match from hell that was once the end all of all fueds but is now just something used to hype up a match" and they fued some more while HHH holds Steven Richards down.

C'mon, that's a bit of a stretch.

Did you just say you want Steven Richards to win the title and go on a 5 month reign..

I think everyone is missing the obvious one here. That being that Shawn Michaels makes a dramatic reappearance, he and HHH eliminate each other at the last, and they have to have a match between them to find out who the champion is. Which HHH wins, despite it being a no dq all-face lumberjack match, with Michaels' mom as special guest referee and Flair and Batista exiled to Carlito's Carribean beach house.

Leprechauns.
Nah, I really don't know how HHH is going to keep the strap. I expect the writers to come up with something particularly wacky, though. Or just rehash a Vinnie Mac / Jerry Lawler / similar incident from the past and hope nobody notices.
Meh.

A big swerve would be if HHH,Flair&Batista were the last 3 remaining and Flair tries to talk Batista into going over the top rope but Batista won't give in but eventually he does and then as HHH is shaking Batista's hand, Flair tosses him out lol
