I dunno. The newer consoles have a lot of bells and whistles, but more liklihood of failure and problems. My NES has never quit on me, and I'm still using the first contoller I bought and the original that came with the box. Conversely, I just had to replace all my controllers on my PS2, and my PSX Guncon doesn't work, while my Zapper still ****ing works.

NES!
Gotta go with NES. Like KK said, I still have my original, and it works perfectly, along with all the games I have. There's too many hardware issues with the newer consoles than the first ones.

PS2. First of the next generation consoles and it has kept up with it's game.

* Voted for SNES :y:
Seriously, it was the best in many aspects, and quite possibly the most physically durable console. I had a lava lamp fall on mine, it cracked it, screwed the eject button, but it still works fine.
I still use my SNES to play NHL'94 on occasion. It will always be my favorite console.

The system rules ass though. No copy protection or anything... :drool:

Probably because even in its prime, it wasn't the best system out
SNES.
Every game I owned for it was classic. Still like it a lot better than my PS2 or Gamecube.

Haha what.
So you are telling me you never had to do the infamous blowing into your game to make it work?
With my first NES, I had to blow into it and the game for like ten minutes until it finally worked. Piece of shit.
Then I got the new model NES and it never ****ed up once. But yeah, every single person I know always had problems with their NES and had to blow into the games to make them work.

HAHAHAH YUP
My Legend of Zelda ALWAYS ****ed up, like every time I went in a cave the game had like an 80% chance of ****ing up. So when I first got the sword I saved my game. Then I'd have to risk screwing the game up every time I tried to beat a level or buy an item or something. Good ol' NES :cool:
Haha and I found that if you leave the game slightly out a bit, like don't push it in all the way, that works better than blowing in it :cool:
