LA Park = 6.5

Had some good matches, not bad too bad in the ring, had a boat load of charisma (I personally think it was the outfit, but oh well), but he never did anything. As a man once said, he never "...put alot of butts in the seats." Only in this case it happens to be true. His cameos in TNA and other Indy companies have done nothing to make them seem more credible. Like I said I like his ring work, and he never annoyed me, but there was nothing about him that I found exactly great.

Funky, it might be a good idea as we get into a higher number of ratings to turn the list of all those rated prior into a drop down menu.

Good, not great. Never really impressed me much, but he gets extra for playing air guitar with a chair.

La Parka sighting:

"I'll never forget the time I was fishing with my brother Sammy and we were drinking lots of beer. We both got pretty drunk and Sammy said, "I'M THE MESSIAH! LOOK AT ME, I CAN WALK ON THE WATER!" Well, Sammy started walking off the shore, and fell straight in sinking way out of my sight. I was afraid to get in the water, so I just sat at the edge of the shore, petrified. This freaky looking big guy in a Skeleton Suit came running up the bank with this crazy ass strut. He pulled a big metal folding chair out and tied a rope to it. He then strummed it like a guitar for about 10 seconds then threw it in the lake. After doing the crazy strut a bit more, he pulled on the rope, and my brother Sammy came flying out of the water, landing right on the bank. Sammy wasn't breathing, so this guy started hitting his stomach with the chair. Water and fish flew out of Sammy's mouth as he started breathing again. I told this strange man, "Thanks!" and asked him what his name was. He handed me a card that simply read "La Parka". I told him thanks again, then Sammy did the same. Then, this man named La Parka hit us both on the head with his chair and strutted off into the sunset. I love La Parka. Long live La Parka!"

Average worker, funny gimmick. Some decent matches, but nothing that I would say is better than anyone else's, especially guys from his style of wrestling.

He was very individualistic and got over with that. I mean you look at the guy dressed like a skeleton from Halloween and you're like, "yea, he'll go far," but he fantastic. His "Chairman" gimmick was excellent and he really was one of the very few luchadore's to have and carry out an original gimmick. I mean back in WCW, I couldn't tell half the luchadore's from the other, but La Parka stood out. You knew he had that dance, you knew he carried around a chair and you knew what he was about, even if he didn't speak a word.

He gets a 8.0 from me.

PorkSoda

7.5. I've seen him in WCW with the chair gimmick but I never actually seen him wrestle or do anything that stood out. I'm giving him a 7.5 because I know he doesnt suck and I read stuff on him and its pretty much all positive.

I think I rated him pretty high, but I remember reading a video game review for a WCW game. It generally got poor marks, but they noted this shining advantage: "Where else can you play a game as an overweight Mexican luchador dressed up as a skeleton?"

THe guy may have always lurked in the lower midcard, and maybe he didn't have spectacular matches, but he always made me laugh and root for him. Plus his Chairman stint was great. I'd love to see him show up as a surprise General Manager on Smackdown someday.
