WWE put a hit on Dupree?

- Right now it is being implied by several sources in WWE that WWE management was behind the Renee Dupree attack, by Bob “Hardcore” Holly. The backstage heat on Dupree was growing by the day, and he was causing several problems amongst others backstage.

Many say that Bob Holly was not part of the roster cutbacks, because WWE management looks at him as a “problem solver”, or an “enforcer” in the ring.

One former WWE wrestler in TNA has said that even Vince McMahon himself has given people the green light to go stiff on people, in order to send messages in the ring to the victims. Things like this do happen very often, and many in WWE are looking at it as not a very big deal at all.

Most believe from observations of the incident, that when Bob Holly attacked Renee Dupree, Dupree knew exactly why this was happening. Dupree did not fight back, when he could have. Holly is a tough guy, and it’s probably best that Dupree did not fight back, however he did have the chance to if he wanted.

If this is true... then wrestlers need to get themselves a union. Though, this type of treatment is most likely only administered to the asshole wrestlers, it is still not right. It sets and creates a dangerous line and breaks 'trust'. Wrestlers are supposed to keep each other safe in the ring and work together because one of these days, Holly, or anyone else, is going to stiff some wrestler and they are going to end up fighting back and someone could get seriously injured.

I just hope Holly tries to pull something like this on Puder.

Well you have to look at it this way. That form of punishment is a sort of tradition in this business. There are lots of stories like this, and lots of people like holly(although holly seems to take a little too much pleasure in it) throughout the history f the business. It's easy to critisize something like this and say it's cruel if you're on the outside looking in. I think it's something you can only really understand if you're in the industry.

Puder can't take Holly, the only reason he was able to lock onto Angle was that Angle wasn't expecting MMA tactics in a wrestling match.

He would destroy Justice Smith. Smith is all power. He seems to get tired quickly and is actually kinda slow. As long as you can out maneuver a guy like that, you bascally have the fight won.
Smith's also a black belt in Tae Kwon Do (sp) and has been kickboxing his whole life.

As for the Dupree thing, whoever ordered this can and should be facing serious criminal charges, and the company would be losing tons of money through a lawsuit if this was able to be proven and Dupree decided to take action.

About Puder, he is no doubt a great athlete and fighter, but I think people are taking this whole Angle thing overboard.

You have to remember that Angle
-has a severly injured neck that would slow him down a LOT in a real wrestling match
-has not competed for almost 9 years
-is a lot older than Puder
-was not expecting Puder to have the skill he did at first, and likely just didn't want to hurt him, or wanted to take him down in a slower fashion so it would look better on TV
-still was able to pin him quickly even if it wasn't properly. Just the fact that Angle was able to quickly take down and put Puder on his back shows his dominance over him. In most wrestling matches, a pin does not occur for the entire 7 minutes.

Puder is definitly a gifted fighter, but to compare him to a guy like Angle is ridiculous.
