Patriots rolllllllled on Cleveland, Cleveland did play their 3rd string QB but I don't care. Patriots > YOUR MOTHER
Troy Brown got another INT  Harrison shoulda had 2 picks, I think he still had that ball in his other hand when the tip hit the ground. WHATEVER though, Patriots are sick. Dillon is the man, 2 TDs today
Bethel Johnson ran back the opening kick off aswell
Watching Eagles Packers right now. I don't know, Eagles are gonna win this one I believe. If the Eagles don't represent the NFC in the Superbowl they should just quit life. NFC is so bad this year, Eagles should just be able to walk into the Superbowl.

Just got back from the Eagles Game..... WOW, weather you like them or not they are incredible. And if you still think McNabb is overrated you are a fucking lunatic. He started out 14/14, ended up 32/43 for 464 yards and 5 TD's. That is fucking Manning style. The Eagles D did awesome untill the 4th quarter where they let up two shitty tocuhdowns in the last minutes of the 4th quarter that ment jack shit. This was my first Eagles game at the Linc.. There are no other fans like Eagles fans.. Damn it is a good day to be a Eagles Fan... And to all you haters... :foc: Fly Eagles Fly!

Philly is retarded. Way to fucking jack up the score when you're FOURTY POINTS AHEAD. God, fucking idiots are lucky all those hits McNabb took didn't injure him.

Yeah, that kind of shit is ridiculous. I like McNabb, guys like Owens are who piss me off.
Just as bad as the fans.
Rain Man
12-05-2004, 09:59 PM
I ment by saying Philly because Kevin Jones is from philly man chill out.. I wanted them to jack up the score to prove a point what you think the Packers just wanted to Eagles to run the ball the whole 3rd quarter???
road doggy dogg
12-05-2004, 10:01 PM
Why are you even talking about Kevin Jones, he has nothing to do with anything right now
And yes, most teams do in fact run the ball when they have a lead. Clock control? Sportsmanship? I mean Christ, they even had all their starters in and were throwing still. Ridiculous. If they had Detmer in and had him throwing the ball around, while actually running a bit, it owuldn't reallybe a problem. But whatever.
Rain Man
12-05-2004, 10:03 PM
Well call up Andy Reid and bitch at him because I dont really give a shit weather you think it is unsportman like or not
Jesus Shuttlesworth
12-05-2004, 10:08 PM
LOL Yea who cares if its "unsportsman" like. Why should the Eagles let up because a team can't stop them? It's not there fault.
I am sorry but I can't stand shit that like. STOP RUNNING UP THE SCORE  Well why didn't they do something to stop it? It's there own fault. Also they did take them out eventually, and it wasn't like they were running take offs to the endzone with the starters in the game anyways.
This is the NFL, this isn't high school or college where the teams might be uneven or something. These guys are all professional why don't they just grab there balls anty up and stop somebody? Instead of crying about the "running up the score" From what I saw I saw a lot of Green Bay guys jumping around after making big plays even when they were getting there ass kicked (Nick Barnett anyone?)
Rain Man
12-05-2004, 10:10 PM
Wow I got someone on my side for once.. SCORE!
Gonzo
12-05-2004, 10:10 PM
I was referring to the battery throwing that AssMan noted. I don't give a shit if people run up the score. Shit like that happens, the other team can learn from it even so who cares.
road doggy dogg
12-05-2004, 10:12 PM
Well, whatever. I just think it was stupid of Philly, since they clearly had the game won. Why risk injuries?
Jesus Shuttlesworth
12-05-2004, 10:15 PM
Well yeah, they probably could have taken people out but its the game of football. You can't play being worried about injuries all the time or you are going to get hurt. Maybe Reid didn't feel it was the right time to pull them just yet? I really don't know, you'd have to ask the coach, but that running up the score shit is pointless. Green Bay is the ones that looked like idiots, especially Barnett. I'll give him credit for nothing giving up but talking shit when you stop a guy on 3rd down when you are losing by 30+ :-\ And the FB too, Henderson I think, spiking the ball he scored lol. Now that is stupid if you ask me, that DB from the Eagles shut him down though. Pointing to the scoreboard = GANGSTA
Gonzo
12-05-2004, 10:16 PM
Sure, if there happened to be an injury then it would be looked at like why didn't Andy Reid give the backups some time. However that didn't happen so c'est la vie.

Fuckin Dillon went out with an injury though. I hope it's not too serious, Dillon is a sick fuck. I love this guy. Cinnci is stupid for letting him go for a 2nd round pick, he is gross. I don't get why everyone thought he was such a terrible guy. He has been the man since he joined the Patriots maybe he just wasn't happy playing with a bunch of losers.

Well as far as Philly is concerned, i am a big Eagles fan and i must say that i thought Green Bay was going to be the team that would contest them in the playoffs. I should knock on wood though because this year of the NFL has to be the most entertaining and unpredictable year i have watched. Big ups to the NFL players and i hope the Eagles go to the Superbowl..if they don't make it this year, then there is NO, and i repeat NO excuse.

I was reading this NFL newspaper/magazine the other night, it was a couple weeks old, but it was when Indy whooped Houston, and people were saying Indy had "no class" and criticizing Tony Dungy for still throwing the ball with the huge lead.
It's pathetic how people can say that, IMO it is more insulting, when a team lets up on you because you are obviously no match for them (on the day or just in general)
It's not an official rule to run the ball when you have a lead that big, why do people have to complain about that shit. Personally, I would find it unsportsmanlike and having "no class" to be rubbing it in the faces of the players on the losing team, by taunting them and shit like that. Just actually playing football like you are supposed to be doing, what is wrong with it?
The object of the game (for offense) is to try and score a TD on every drive, yet apparently it's wrong to do that when you have a big lead. :|

Leaving top starters in is kinda dumb/risky though, but if Green Bay's D were trying to injure them on purpose, then they are the dickheads in this situation, not the Eagles. :o

If the Seahawks blow this game, the Miz should not be allowed back on these boards.
With about five or so minutes left they scored a TD to go up by 1, after the 2PC they were up by 3. Soon they get another TD to go up by 10. On the next series Dallas gets a TD, now they have recovered the onsides kick and are driving fast with under a minute. They are on like the 20 now. Vinny sucks, but even if they somehow can't get into the endzone they should get the field goal to force OT. Wow, I used to like the Seahawks.

2001 was probably just as bad...43-0 NFC Championship Game loss to the Giants...We are going to do something stupid to end this season too, but we didn't have the same expectations. Also, I've said before I don't consider 2003 a real choke because we weren't a very good team. But yes, nonetheless the Vikings are one of the biggest chokes in the NFL.

I think they were saying (I forget why) that they couldn't challenge that Keyshawn catch, because of the time or something.
Still though, Dallas recovered the onside kick (those things still confuse me :() and let them get not a FG, but a TD. The call was wrong on the TD before the onside kick, but they shouldn't have let Dallas get the ball back and score so easily.
Seattle were unlucky with that last bomb though, bounced into Engram's chest and he didn't react quick enough to catch it :o
