So we now have Booker T vs Kane, evidentally, in a case of what one could call reverse-longterm booking. Personally I think this is the best start to a feud we've seen lately. What with Kane using his Royal Rumble fate from last year and Booker T's capture of the title shot at Wrestlemania last year, WWE is doing something rather unusual in actually acknowledging that something happened to a wrestler over four months ago.
ALSO, has anybody noticed, that this could tie in to the "I Still Remember" thing from a bit ago? Yeah, they were probably planning on a Booker/Goldust feud at the time, but now it seems like the "official version" could be that Kane left the note in regards to Booker T "stealing his rightful spot" at WM19.
In addition, did anybody notice Kane's phrasing, "<i>no living soul</i> can stop me?" Is that a setup for the return of the "dead man" Undertaker? Booker T vs Kane could be set up very well as a feud to lead us into the Taker vs Kane that's pretty much accepted to be forthcoming.
All in all, WWE is doing this thing right for once, hopefully they can keep at it.

Yea, even though the idea of a Booker T vs Kane match doesn't appeal to me, I have to admit it's good booking. Like you said, it almost sounds like the writers knew what they were doing or something lol.

With the Rumble up coming, I like the idea of having mini fueds that can be fleshed out during the Rumble. I mean usually the RUmble is just random guys beating on each other, until the end. The more mini fueds they can attach the better for the overall quality of the match.
The fued is what it is, they did so much damage to Kane with Shane, that they need someone to sell for him to the point that he gets over as a killer. I wouldn't be suprised to see Kane somehow take out BT for an extended period of time.
And yes, this is all leading to Kane-Taker. My guess is that Taker will somehow cost Kane the Rumble match. I wouldn't go so far as to say that Taker will appear in person, but I would guess we'll see some type of hint that the 'Deadman' is coming back for Kane. That will probably lead to BT eliminating Kane, which would possibly lead to Kane killing BT on RAW the next night.

Now, if only the writers could extend this sort of good thinking to the whole product, we'd be a lot happier! :y:

Yeah I love when guys are involved in a feud and they are both in the rumble and the face wrestler would come out going right after the heel he is feuding with. Like in 97, Austin had eliminated everyone and he was alone in the ring and then BAM, Bret Hart's music hit and Austin got all worried and Bret was pointing at him like he was going to kick his ass. In 92 Macho Man went right after Jake when he came out and before Macho Man came out you could see Jake cautiously looking at the next guy who entered making sure it wasn't Savage. Stuff like that makes the Rumble more interesting.
Maybe while in the Rumble, Kane is beating on Booker and is about to eliminate him, then the bells toll and 'I still remember' flashes on the screen. Kane is scared out of his wits, and Booker uses this distraction to kick Kane's ass and send him tumbling out of the ring. Immediately after Kane's elimination, the music and message disappear and Kane keeps staring at the Titantron, scared like hell.
