What if the N.W.O. never formed. The N.W.O saga got so big that once vince bought out WcW, N.W.O was reformed on WWE. I beleive NWO helped create some of the big name superstars. It helped create hype up Sting and Goldberg as some of the greatest Stable Killers. It helped remake Hulk Hogan , Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall. Would WCW have ended sooner if not for the NWO?
Thoughts....
remember if you have a What if PM me with the idea.

if it wasn't for the N.w.O. WCW would not have received the ratings that it had. Some of the stars that were made durin that era would not have been made.
NwO helped create an era of attitude. If NwO would not have been born then WWF Attitude would not have been born. So without NwO there would not be much of anything.

Without NWO, there would have been no DX for one

Without the nWo, WCW would probably still be around.

There would be no nWo if it weren't for the idea that started off in some jap fed.
nWo became bloated, and it at first aided wcw, then it ended up hurting wcw.

Without the nWo
If there had never been an nWo, WCW would have never got ahead in the ratings war. While they were gaining support at the time, it was Hogan turning heel that brought them ahead of WWF. Some would say that WWF would have never gone to the Attitude Era had they not have been lagging in the ratings, however I would take the stance that Steve Austin would have made the same impact...it was Austin who launched the Era. Unlike Hogan (who was a company machine, and Vince's idea of American Hero gimmick), Austin was more or less told that they didn't have a storyline for him, so more or less fuck it, just be yourself...and that is what launched Attitude. Remember Vince and Company never looked at the ratings, though they knew they were losing...
Had WCW never formed the nWo, as mentioned earlier, WCW wouldn't have gotten ahead of the ratings, except maybe on a show or two, but at the same time they wouldn't have focused the entire show on one idea. Who knows if Booker T, Chris Benoit, and guys like Jericho and Guerrero could have gotten a bigger break sooner. While nWo was the best thing to come out of WCW, for business it was also the worst. It gave them new levels of success they never could have reached without it, but when they fell from grace they fell HARD. Without the nWo Bischoff probably would have fallowed suit and tried to do an Attitude type atmosphere over in WCW as well...then again Eric was a very ambitious young man...I am sure there were about 100 other things he would have done in place of nWo.
It's really hard to say how much the nWo really shapped Professional Wrestling...but at the end of the day, I think WWF/WWE would more or less have stayed the same...WCW wouldn't have failed in the final two years...but WCW would always be looked at as a B-company.

If nWo never happened, WCW would have never caught fire, and niether would have wrestling in general. And for all we know, it may have forced Bischoff to shuffle the card, and let people like Booker T, Raven, Beniot, and all them get up to the main event spots, and start to let go of the old guys in Hogan, Flair, and Savage.
nWo is what ulitmately killed WCW. If they didn't come around, Unlce Ted would still pump money into WCW just to piddle around with it like he did before nWo ever started.
Also, I don't think the ratings wars would have happened. And because of that, Bret Hart would probably still be in WWF(E) and never been kicked by Goldberg. Because Bret wouldn't have been "screwed", Vince would have never turned evil. Since Vince never turned evil, Stone Cold may not have taken off as big. Also WW(F)E probably wouldn't have gone to such lengths to get ratings, so Owen would probably still be alive. Also, Vince probably wouldn't have had to scramble for talent, and ECW would still be alive, probably.
If feel that nWo did the most to help and hurt wrestling all at the same time. If Nash and Hall never left WWE, Hogan wouldn't turn heel, and none of what did happen would have happened. We would be looking at a very different wrestling world.

If the nWo would of never happened then we might of gotten something all the same. We would of never gotten DX and if DX was formed some how then WcW would just have another form of NwO. The only problem there was with the nWo was at one point it was no longer WcW wrestlers Vs NwO wrestlers. It was nWo Vs nWo because basically everyone in WcW was a nWo wrestler.
