<font color=white>New card updated: I think its the 11th post in this thread or something. Looks like Lesnar/Orton won't be happening. :shifty: :D ;)</font>
CONTEST - Create your Wrestlemania 21 Card and Predictions HERE
Wrestlemania 21 is obviously still quite aways, but here is what I propose.
We each create our own Card and Predictions (as many times as we want). If this thing goes over well, then we the posters (in this thread) can vote on which card is the best (in terms of quality, could it realistically occur, storyline, etc.).
A month or so before Wrestlemania 21 starts, people will probably make more "Card and Prediction" type threads anyways. However - this thread will serve a different purpose (hopefully). In this thread (at this time), people can really use their imaginations (within reason) and creatively predict as to what will happen between now and WM.
Here is my Card and (hopeful) Predictions for right now.
Sunday Night Heat:
Raw World Tag Team Titles : Rhyno/Taijiri vs. William Regal/Eugene vs. Christian/Maven vs. La Resistance
-The highlight of this match, is Eugene turning on Regal (to a chorus of boos). Leading into this match, Eugene had been showing some signs of turning heel (Regal still plays the sympathetic mentor). Eugene is still a retard, but he has turned heel. Nonetheless, Rhyno and Taijiri retain the titles. I'm also assuming that by this time, La Resistance will be broken up.
Winner: Rhyno and Taijiri
WWE Cruiserweight Title: Paul London vs. Billy Kidman
-A solid CW match. If there's enough of a PPV timeslot, this match is a part of Wrestlemania. Paul London wins.
Winner: Paul London
Wrestlemania 21:
Intercontinental Title (Fatal Four Way): Shelton Benjamin vs. Simon Dean vs. Chris Jericho vs. Hurricane
-Hurricane has turned heel between now and Wrestlemania. However - it doesn't save his ass in this match. Shelton Benjamin retains the IC title.
Winner: Shelton Benjamin
Smackdown WWE Tag Team Turmoil (Title Match): Carlitto Carribbean Cool/Jesus vs. Bashams vs. Dudleys vs. Rey Mysterio/Ultimo Dragon vs. Luther Reigns/Mark Jindrak vs. Eddie Guerrero/Chavo Guerrero
-A re-united Eddie and Chavo Guerrero win the tag team turmoil (both men are faces obviously). The Dudleys have also become fan-favorites again.
Winners: Eddie and Chavo Guerrero
WWE Title: John Bradshaw Layfield vs. Brock Lesnar
-Brock Lesnar returns to the WWE and looks just as impressive. He earns his right to face JBL at Wrestlemania by winning the Royal Rumble. Lesnar gets "mixed reactions" against JBL, but goes onto win anyways.
Winner: Brock Lesnar
World Title: Triple H vs. Randy Orton
-Randy Orton wins the title in the Elimation Chamber match. After successfully retaining his title against Edge, Snitsky etc., Orton heads into Wrestlemania on a strong winning streak. Triple H meanwhile, defeats Batista after Evolution breaks up. Triple H also wins a "tournament" type deal on RAW, and earns the right to face Orton at Mania'. Unfortunately however, Triple H jobs to Orton. Orton retains.
Winner: Randy Orton
Singles Match (No Disqualification): Kane vs. Dave Batista vs. Gene Snitsky
-The three biggest men on RAW get put into an angle with one another. Kane and Batista are the faces, while Snitsky is the heel.
Winner: Dave Batista
Singles Match: Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Michaels
-At one of the Joint PPV's (RR), Angle talks about how he's the greatest wrestler of all-time. This gets the attention of HBK....and he challenges Angle to a match at Mania. The match is well fought, but Angle wins in the end with the Olympic Slam. The two men shake hands after the match.
Winner: Kurt Angle.
United States Title: John Cena vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Booker T
-Rob Van Dam has turned heel now. Sometime after Royal Rumble, he turns heel and feuds with Rey Mysterio. After doing a job to him, he gets a return victory as well. In this match however, John Cena retains the U.S. title.
Winner: John Cena
Singles Match: Edge vs. Chris Benoit
-A great rivalry has developed between these two men. During the "tournament" on RAW, both men prevent one another from winning. At the PPV before this, neither man can get a clean pinfall. On this night however, Edge goes 'over' cleanly.
Winner: Edge
Women's Title: Trish Stratus vs. Victoria vs. Lita vs. Molly Holly
-It would basically be an every day run of the mill fatal four way match. Lita wins I guess.
Winner: Lita
Singles Match: Mick Foley vs. Ric Flair
-Is it a shoot fight? A work? No of us know until the last minute! muhahahaha! Anyways - Flair shows that underneath it all, he is a class act....and one of the greatest wrestlers of all-time. Flair does the JOB to Foley.
Winner: Mick Foley
Singles Match: The Rock vs. Mohammad Hussan
-The biggest face against seemingly the biggest heel. Emotion is super high in this match. Thanks to interference on the manager's part, Mohammad Hussan picks up the victory. After the match however, The Rock does the People's Elbow on the manager.
Winner: Mohammad Hussan.
Singles Match: Undertaker vs. Big Show
-Not sure if Big Show turns heel before Mania, but the fans are clearly with Taker. Leading up to WM, Show basically challenges Undertaker.....and tells Taker that he wants to know if he (Big Show) is "the man" or not. The only way he can prove this, is if he beats Taker. Unfortunately, Taker no-sells all his moves and squashes the crap out of him. P
Winner: Undertaker
Undisputed Title: Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton
-Before Wrestlemania, it is announced that there will be an *UNDISPUTED* champion. The winners from each world title bout, would face each other in the last match of the show. The winner of THIS match, would get to appear on both shows.
During this match, both Triple H and JBL interfere at different times (to go after the guys that handed them their asses :P). In both instances, Batista and John Cena interfere to ensure that things remain clean.
In the end, Lesnar has Orton set up for the F5........but Orton gets out of it, and finishes Lesnar with the R.K.O.
Winner: Randy Orton.
Conclusion: Basically - I think Orton beating BOTH Triple H and Lesnar would really serve to establish him as a top face (since that's what the WWE wants). IMO - Orton *only* going over Triple H won't really do much (since he's already done that........and the two men have also fought against one another a couple of times). Basically - Orton goes over HUGE. The next Undisputed Champion after Orton, could be Edge (who wins at Summerslam 05').
