Y2J(obber)

As far as jobbing goes, this was Chris Jericho's year, he's lost to some great rising stars in the WWE. Only a few of the greats he's put over this year have been the great Christian, Randy Orton, Batista, Shelton Benjamin, Kane, the list goes on and on. He even got himself a pretty cool Intercontinental title run. That title run was awarded to him so it could get him out of the title run at Taboo Tuesday (which was the same event he lost it.) Not bad for a jobber=). Even now the WWE is teasing at a Jericho title run. We all know that he'll undoubtedly be the first or second man eliminated, but could you just imagine if he won? He'd definately surpass the Brooklyn Brawler. Unfortunately his time jobbing on Raw may be coming to a close =(. There's practically no other angle or storyline he could get into right now so pretty soon he'll have to stop putting people over an start holding people down on Sunday Night Heat. Regardless of whatever he does or whoever he starts putting over (I don't think he's ever done an angle with Viscera) he'll still have all of his Jerichoholics cheering him on. And for all the Jerichoholics reading this thread, here's a sneak peak at some of Jericho's merchandise for 2006!

Jericho Tee
Sizes- M, L, XL, XXL
Front- Sunday Night Jericho!!
Back-

Jericho Kids Tee
Sizes- S, M
Front- Y2J Baby!!
Back- ...hey at least my mom didn't buy me a Funaki shirt.

Jericho (In)action Figure
Lays flat on his back, also can move his right arm up and down to tap out!!

Here's to you Jericho, you're an essential part of the WWE Roster and have enough charisma to donate to people like Tyson Tomko (who leeches off of Christian's supply anyway).

EDIT - NOT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY, more of a vent and a joke on stupid booking.

All kidding aside has Jerischmo ever done anything to WWE Management? I mean it's like they're just vindictively keeping him away from the M.E. scene?

You know, I'm really sick to bloody death of people claiming to be Jericho's fans constantly laughing at what a "jobber" he is. The fact is that in Jericho's time in WWF/WWE he's done as much as anybody who's ever been on the roster, and more than some, and PEOPLE STILL WANT TO SEE HIM. I've NEVER heard a single person complain that Jericho is overused, never heard a single person who was disappointed to see him coming down the ramp. In over five years, the man has never missed a significant amount of time due to injury. The worst thing anyone can say about Jericho is that he's underused, and that's a hell of a lot better than being overused, because after a career that's included him having a record number of IC championships, a WCW championship, the first ever Undisputed championship, plus the European, Tag, and Hardcore championships, not to mention the TV and US championships in WCW, people STILL WANT MORE Y2J. March the Rock, Austin, or Hogan into an arena tonight and you'll have more than a few grumbles of "not this again," but march Jericho in right behind them and you'll have none of that.
Chris Jericho puts people over without complaint. Few wrestlers of his caliber can say that about themselves. The majority of your legendary wrestlers, take Hogan, Austin, Michaels, and Flair as the biggest examples, have all had cases where they were unwilling to job to someone... can you say that about Jericho?
Jericho has had an outstanding career, and has many good years ahead of him, and you're comparing him to the Brooklyn Brawler. What a disgusting display of disrespect from someone who couldn't lick Jericho's feet. The man has earned himself a place among the legends of his business, and above many, so why don't you take your pathetic excuse for a second grade laugh and put it next to your Hulkamania underoos.
Oh and btw, :foc:

If you were a true Jericho fan (and I never said I was) you would've just laughed it off like he would've (which was the intention of this thread tight-ass). By the way, you should go see a doctor about that sledgehammer up your ass. Triple H, The Rock, Stone Cold, Shawn Michaels, Edge > Y2J

Jericho is my favorite wrestler and I would tell you how much of a fan I am of his, but I won't. You all just have to realize he is a great worker, an entertainer that will do what it takes to make a great show, even if it means to lower himself in storylines or in the cards. He could be in HHH's spot, but he is not and that is something that people must think about.

So yeah, don't get too upset over what someone says about your favorite wrestler. There is freedom of speech, but then again, you didn't train the guy his entire life to get very upset over a minor critique of that person's talent and usage.

LOL at all of this...

I will say this, Edge was funny as hell when he was with Christian doing the 5 second pose, but since the split he has done not one single notable moment of entertainment. Anyone who says that Edge was the better of the E&C connection needs to get checked out by a doctor for Ultimate Warrior syndrom.

And by the by, I am a HUGE Y2J mark...yes I said it MARK. In my eyes Jericho can do no wrong (probably because he has done nothing wrong in his entire career besides 3 botched moves in the past decade ;)) and I can find humor in the jobber topic. The fact is he has been misused and has become a Jobber to the Stars. Is it right? No. Is it Jericho's fault? No. But still the fact remains that he has done more losing in the past year then winning. Is it a tribute to his greatness that he STILL gets the BIGGEST pops out of anyone in the WWE right now despite constantly losing? Yes it is. So take the jokes on HeAT is Jericho and (In)action figures for what they are, not a reflection on Chris, just on his booking.

Basically this is my way of saying to everyone who was whinning and bitching...Would you please...SHUT the HELL UP!

While you are right about Edge being more entertaining while with E & C, it's actually not his fault. In his book he states that after he broke out onto the singles scene they wanted him to act more serious and ditch the shenannigans....which is what got him over in the first place. Edge says that to this day he doesn't like the serious nature his character has taken, and wishes he could be himself a little bit more. While that may have been true when he was writing the book, I think he's fallen into the role quite nicely the past few months. He kept getting shafted, week after week, and yet was still able to make himself look like a heel. I think that speaks volumes for the guy's work. His match quality has also improved greatly, as of late. Edge's work always seemed so BLAH to me, but he's impressed me lately.

Christian is still better though. ;)
