I've been off-line for a while, and first and foremost, Sorry to the NCW that I just dropped off the face of the earth. Stuff happens, and I'll leave it at that.

Well, I’m back on-line and all I have to say right now is “what the fuck?” I just saw the Hassan promo… Why the hell is he going after Jerry and J.R? While the fans were chanting “USA! USA!” any random person, face or heel, could have gone out there for a nice pop! They could have gotten Steven Richards over! They could have gotten Garrison Cade over with the fans! They could have sent out Val Venis, Todd Grisham, Rhyno, Simon Dean, or they could have had a “trade” and send someone like Mark Jindrak, Al Snow, Josh Mathews, Scotty 2 Hotty, Hardcore Holly or anyone out there for an instant face pop! Hell, the WWE could have sent X-Pac out there if he was under contract!

And why the crap does Creed have a “greatest hits” album out? They have what, 4 CD’s out?

The fans were being stupid and proving his point. Hussan's point is that Americans preach hate towards Arabs, and they went after the announcers because, as we all know, JR's been pretty super against anti-Americans and stuff.

Hussan made some great points about Americans treating him, an Arab American, different simply because of his race. And then the fans started chanting USA! Because most of them are dumb.

Well it would be better than the "debate" unless X-Pac is comming next week. It's gonna be Hassan with cheap heat, J.R. with cheap pops, and we all see X-Pac and think "Isn't he that greasy haired transvistive from that one porno with Chyna?"

They always seem to involve JR and King in angles better suited for a real wrestler.

They completely killed off any heat Tazz had going for him in the summer of 2000 when they feuded him with Jerry Lawler (leading to a couple of boring matches), then they had the whole Coach & Snow vs. JR and Lawler shit to waste some time. There have been many other times (Lawler vs. Raven comes to mind), and none of them have done anything to elevate the wrestlers they feud with.

It's one of those stupid WWE cliches that they don't seem to learn from, and you can probably rest assured of a Hussan vs. Lawler match some time in the future.

I'll be sure to tune into the debate. That's pure ratings gold.

I don't think this little feud with the announcers will hurt them. It will solidify them as sort of a "terror" in the federation who will go after and beat down anybody they please.

The only thing that could ruin it is if they stretch this feud past next week or actually have King/JR get some offensive on them.

I did however like the way that he just totally stood up to King and not back down at all.

Why in gods name are they having a debate....If I wanted to watch a damn debate during wrestling time I would of watched the presidential deabte. Stupid WWE writers thinking its ok to have a debate on my tv. We dont need him to be any more heel. He came fans booed...he was mean to the fans....we get it. He is a bad guy now let him go off and fight someone.

I do agree with what was previously said about anyone could of gone out and over during the Hassan promo. Might of been a good time to bring Johnny Nitro back or even bring out one of the other boys in the back.

In Foley's first book "Have a Nice Day" on sale in bookstores :shifty:....he mentions that the art of being a successful heel is being able to justify your actions. He said the fans have to see where you're coming from. Thats what he did in the anti-hardcore movement in ECW. Hussan I feel is doing the same thing. He's making a fucking point, and I think it'll be funny watching Daivari and Hussan make Lawler and JR look like dumbasses next week.

I don't mind the debate because Hussan is actually good on the mic. He certainly has the superstar look, and am just getting antsy to see him in the ring.

Well Brittney Spears has a greatest hits album out and how many CDs does she have out?

well back on the other topic. WWE is decidin to mess up these two guys. As good as those two are on the mic, puttin them in a debate against the king and JR is pathetic. Gonna wind up feudin with Lawler and losin a couple of those matches. :(

I think JR has won more matches in the WWE than Tommy Dreamer

I guarantee that in the debate Jerry Lawler is going to make some "master debator" comments and laugh his ass off because he thinks it's funny.

But seriously though.... Next week Raw is in New York isn't it? They better lay off the 9/11 stuff or else Hussan will be shot or something. :|

But therein lies the problem: WILL Lawler and JR be made to look like dumbasses next week?

I think Hussan and Diavari will cut their shit, say all the stuff they've been saying for the past month in their vignettes, and then JR and King will come back with the usual pro-American bullshit: "This is America, and we have the right to say and feel whatever we want! And if that means calling you two Arabian morons, then God bless America!" And they'll get pops for it too.

If the purpose of the debate were to have Diavari and Hussan score a decisive victory, then I'd be all for it. I'm just afraid that they're going to be one upped by JR and King and made to look like idiots.

If they're smart, they won't make it a full on debate. They'll have Hussan and Daivari beat down JR and King, then maybe have someone else (perhaps Foley?) run in, and their first feud will stem off of that.

But if next week's RAW is in New York, they better hire some extra protection for those two.

I HOPE Hassan and Daivari will get cheered in New York City. Maybe even have Muhammad say he was born and raised in New York, and have him retell his past with that great emotion he puts into his promos.

I don't know why, and I haven't see RAW yet, but for some reason I'm sensing a Jerry Lawler heel turn. :wtf:

I never figured out what is the cool thing about chanting USA? There isn't anyone in the ring named "USA" the closest thing that comes to that is Mr. America. and that guy rocked. Whoever he was.
