Due to the fact I went to stillborn fest. After waiting for over an hour for the doors to open at the roseland and nearly freezing to death, people were finally let in. First off it just felt great to be inside and to warm up.
The autumn offering- Wasn't really famillar with them but they put on quite a good show. They had a strong metal influence. There were also some cool breakdowns. All in all they were a great opener.
Full blown chaos- Queens own fbc came out and it was just madness. I went absolutely nuts during "Bloodflow." They played a lot of new stuff which is just simply brutal. These guys are definitly gonna be going places.
Candiria- Brooklyns own put on what was a simply amazing show. Drummer Keneth Shilack is just a pleasure to watch play. They started with "300% density and it was insanity from there on in. They played a lot of stuff from their new cd such as "Dead bury the dead," "the nameless king" and "blood." It was definitly another killer set.
God Forbid- they played a solid set. Highlights were definitly "Anti-hero" and "better days." I Really set it off in there. They said theyre gonna be writing a new cd then theyre touring the east coast again.
Agnostic front- I kinda stood back and just watched the nyhc legends. Even though im not their biggest fan, I still respect their contributions to the scene. Someone also stagedived over the barrier which was just insane.
Hatebreed- OH MY GOD!!! I didnt think this would ever happen but i just went absolutely nuts. They started off with "last breath" and from there on in it was a warzone. I was a madman when they played "Puritan." I also crowd surfed during "this is now." After that I got thrown into an area which had a nice hardcore pit going on which was really good. When they played "Persevearance" People just all turned it up a notch. They finally finished their set with " I will be heard" and everyone was just singing along at the top of their lungs. That had to be one of the most amazing things i have ever seen.
This was definitly an amazing show. At the end i ended up spending $30 on a full blown chaos cd and shirt and i finally got the with honor ep.
