You ever notice how on most wrestling shows, some dumbass announcer will likely make a comment about this particular episode being 'the greatest one ever' or something like that? Well, is there any Raw in particular that sticks out in your mind as the actual greatest one ever?
I think for me, it may have been the one with the debut of Jericho, but I honestly don't remember the whole show. I just remember marking out a lot that night.

Oh easily easily the one where Bret was taken out by Austin and put in an ambulence. Austin attacked Bret in the ambulence. Then Austin comes back to the ring and gets attacked by Owen and Bulldog. Then HBK comes in and cHases Owen and Bulldog away. Then Brian Pillman returns after an absence and attacks Austin and lays him out.
That whole show was so sweet with the main thing being Bret vs Austin

Ohhhh yeah, I change my vote to that one! The Austin/Hart feud was pretty much orgasmic.

Yeah that was a great show.
Its so hard to come up with one that was 'the best'.
I always liked the one after Mania XIV where they really started the Austin-McMahon stuff. Rock took over The Nation, X-Pac came back and did that shoot on Bischoff and Hogan, and then the new DX was formed with NAO.

 The introduction to this thread made me immediatley think of WCW and Tony Schivanne (sp?).
I remember he'd be all like "This is the greatest Nitro ever!" or "This is the biggest night in wrestling history!" every single week.
Anyways. That Austin/Bret one mentioned above was pretty sweet. I have a horrible memory though so I don't really remember much more other than Austin attacking Bret in the ambulance.

The one with Austin vs McMahon and Dude Love came out and attacked Austin was another good one.

Yeah anytime Austin and Bret were together they produce good stuff.

I'd give my vote to that one. But no RAW really sticks out in my mind. It's always moments that stick in my head, and not entire shows. (Besides the ones I go to and some PPVs.)
A lot of my favorite moments have happened with Austin. The beer truck, the crucifiction, the black wedding, the cement truck. RAW over the years has had some kick ass moments, but not one RAW really sticks out in my mind.

The show on the large scale wasn't all that great, but it yeilded two of the greatest moments ever seen by these wrestling fan's eyes...moment one was to have Tommy Dreamer and Rob Van Dam interfere in the Tag Match between Jericho and Kane and Awesome and Storm...then have Raven, Tazz, the Dudleys, Rhyno and Justin Credible come down to seemingly help Jericho and Kane only to turn around and attack them. Fallowed by Paul Heyman's orgasmic speach...and of course the second incredible moment was to here "This is Extreme" song play as the entire "ECW" roster walked through the crowd and to the ring for the big 20 man match that was the maina event...the fact that they fucked everything over by naming Stephanie the Owner of ECW, and they sided ECW with WCW (blasphamy) did no deture from the preceeding two moments which brought tears to my eyes and made me go horse for the next week after literally running up and down the streets screaming ECW! ECW!

Regular run of the mill Raw with Jericho and Kane teaming against Storm and Awesome when...
RVD and dreamer come out from the crowd out of fucking noWHERE and attack. The WWF wrestlers Raven, Credible, Dudleyz, Tazz, Rhyno all come out and there is a standoff between them and Awesome, Storm, RVD and Dreamer.
*Fans realize all the wrestlers were ECW stars* They mark the fuck out!
Everyone beats the shit out of Jericho and Kane.. and Heyman cuts a promo on how ECW has joined the INvasion!

Yep it was..if you saw one of Austin's old video tapes "cause stone cold said so", you'll see parts of it in there..he calls him out..a countdown is going on, no Bret..so austin goes into the back, searches for him, starts trying to bust the Hart Foundation door down..Bret comes out later and they brawl. Bret ends up in a stretcher and ambulance and austin was already in it..attacks Hart again..Bulldog and owen search for him, find him later in the ring, beat him up pretty good till HBK comes running down..austin starts getting back up, but then Pillman charges in from the crowd and assaults him. I remember the cool multi-colored pants he was wearing and the I dont call 911 shirt he had on. HBK runs down again and saves austin, as Pillman goes off through the crowd. This is also my fave ever raw.
The one a week later with Pillman and bulldog and owen praying in the middle of the ring for bret and austin, lol, was damn good too.

I have quite a few raws from 1997 on tape but unfortunately I dont have any before summerslam 1997. I should have kept them all. But then again back then I had no clue what would later happen to them and I took for granted that they would be in the wwf for a long time.
My only hope is for wwe 24/7 to provide us with these raws once again.
But yes, great columns. Thanks for pointing them out to me.

It is hard to pick just one. Some of my favorites were Austin holding McMahon captive throughout the whole broadcast, WCW/ECW invasion (I believe I still have that on tape), and the 2nd Draft Lottery (mainly because I was there live).
I have to agree the ECW moment was the greatest for me cuz I marked the fuck out. And this probally goes old school but I remember there was one time that HBK came out dressed as Taker (lowering out of the ceiling) and suprised someone I cant remember who or when, I just remember it happening.

When Foley won the title
I always get a kick out of the story about how when Tony Schiavone said that Mick would win it on air like a half a million people changed over. Nice going on that one, Bisch!
The night that Jericho debuted obviously sticks out as well as the night that he beat HHH for the title. Also the one where Foley beat the Rock was cool.

One of my personal favorites is the night where we saw Bulldog beat Owen to become the first ever European champion. That was the best match I ever saw on Raw. I remember Sid beating Mankind with a great powerbomb. Rock/Vader had a okay match that show. I remember the HHH/Bret Hart on that show but not much about the match. It was another match on the show but I forgot who was involve,I think it was the Sultan(Rikishi).
Bret Hart vs.HHH, Sid vs.Mankind, Rock vs.Vader and Owen vs.Bulldog all on one show. Think about that line-up and compare it too WWE last ppv.

That was a damn good show..that owen vs bulldog match was a thing of beuty. Most under-rated match up of all time perhaps. Certainly my favourite raw match.
As for Bret vs HHH, well Bret I do believe got the win of course, and I recall Chyna getting in his face but Bret wasn't bothered much about that.

This one was in about February 1998. (I saw this on the RAW X DVD, "Lasting Impression" catagory).
The lights go out, the bell gongs, up comes the blue light, down from the rafters comes Undertaker. JR: Bah Gawd, we haven't seen The Undertaker since Kane set his coffin on fire at the Royal Rumble!
He gets his hands ready to bring up the lights. Then he reaches for his hair. He pulls off a wig, lights ON! From the speakers we hear ""Break it down!" and there's Michaels in Undertaker's get up. He takes off the coat and he's there in his jeans. Out come DX and they have a barbeque, involving Triple H pulling a lump out of his jeans (it was a salami or something) Shawn making a penis w/ testicles out of a sausage and marshmallows, quote Triple H "Hey that's pretty good".
Also, "How do like your Undertaker, rare, medium or well done?"
That was a great show. Also the ones where DX invaded WCW were classics.

Nope, Bret got counted out because of HBK and Chyna. This was during the Raw's when DX seemed to be getting the advantage over the Hart's every week. That was also the Raw where HBK put the flag up his nose.
But then the next week during an HBK/Owen match, Bret Hart comes storming out with passion after the ref got bumped and lit up HBK with lefts and rights. Every time I watch that, I mark out.

Some of my favorite RAWs were the Owen tribute show, the night that the censors were abscent when Bret Hart used "shit" about 4 or 5 times after losing that steel cage match against Sycho Sid and pushing Vince McMahon on his ass, the Draft Lottery, alot of others.
But one of them that I will never forget was in November of 1996, when Brian Pillman pulled a gun on Stone Cold Steve Austin when Austin was trying to get into Pillman's house (I forget the exact date, I know it was 2 weeks before the Survivor Series that year). That was the first time I saw the WWE try something as risky as that, and I loved that. Very unexpected and unpredictable. Too bad some people were upset at that move. but I think if that didn't happen, we would've never seen a boom of wrestling later on, since that one incident paved the way for the other risque stuff to happen, in my mind.
The episode featuring the Radicals and The Rock vs. DX, the night after Royal Rumble 2000 I believe.
That match, for me, was one of the best ever because in one night the WWE gave Benoit, Guerrero, Malenko and Saturn the spotlight that they were never given for nearly 5 years in WCW.
