Well the rumors back when Austin had his second fallout with the WWE was that he'd return for Wrestlemania XXI, any possibility that he could pull one more match out?(possibly put over Brock!?) Or just an official, or what? Discuss.

I don't know why, but I can see either a confrontation with either Muhammad Hassan and/or Eugene.

Wouldn't surprise me to be honest, but he's done it so many times now it's lost it's magic, so I don't care as much as I used to about it
My guess would be he would be a ref or special enforcer in a match. He won't wrestle, I'm pretty sure of that.

He should just elevate someone, like Muhammed or someone else that needs to be elevated or pushed (Besides Triple H). Do the same thing Foley did with Orton and Rock with Hurricane
I swear to God, if Austin, Rock or Foley come back to wrestle at a WrestleMania and are told they're jobbing to Triple H, I'll give up all hope, and right now, there isn't much hope as it is.

Austin can stay gone and The Rock should just stay away and make movies. Im not really an Austin fan anymore and I really dont want to see The Rock show up and waste some talents spot at Wrestlemania just so he can have a match.

yeah but when Rock has a match with someone he puts them over.. just like when he shows up on Raw he puts people over.. last time was Rhyno, Tajiri and La Resistance... i mean common Rock puts people over its not like he comes back for one match and wins...

I'm hearing Flair vs Hogan rumors right now.

Austin V. RVD at WM 21
GOLD!
ECW style match, RVD does whatever he wants, no limitations and then he beats Austin cleanly. Then, he kills Austin with the Van Terminator, not once, BUT THREE times. I could see some major crowd heat on RVD then.

Or the crowd would totally mark the fuck out for RVD van Terminating Austin THREE TIMES
Mr. JL

Okay... maybe just I would mark out
Scorpion

no i would mark out too, RVD is one of the greatest and underused wrestlers WWE has

Actually, Stone Cold doing something with RVD would be great. Maybe have Stone Cold start something with a heel, RVD runs out (we think he's here to help Austin), then bam, RVD kicks Austin, then starts beating him up as the heel runs away, thinknig the same treatment is planned for him. RVD then beats on Austin for a while, then nails the Five Star Frog Splash. This would be extra good if RVD wasn't on the WrestleMania card, or lost a lower-card match earlier in the night.

Wasn't his last match with bishoff?

i really wouldnt call that a match..
Austin's last match was against The Rock at WrestleMania XIX.
If the rumored Orton vs. HHH match does in fact take place at WrestleMania XXI, I would love to see Austin vs. Batista. It could be a pretty evenly paced match until Batista blocks the Stunner set-up kick and nails a spinebuster to win. I would mark out.

Why do we need to see Austin in another match...let the last one be with The Rock from Mania XIX...a great match for both men and a complete sense of closure on the entire fued. Honestly I don't think that Austin comming back for another match would make a huge difference, and ultimatly it would harm his legacy. Call me selfish (for wrestlers) but I am not a fan of brining people back to have them job to get other people over. I don't like it when Foley does it, I don't like it when Rock does it, I don't like that Flair is back wrestling again...just let these men have their final match, and retire gracfully. I know alot of times they WANT to come back, but I think everyone needs a helpful reminder of what doing something like that would do to your image.
Now if they have Taz(z) come out of retirment, it wouldn't matter as much cause his last match was on a random episode of RAW (Again Curt Hennig) and he just wasn't heard from again in the ring, but Austin got a one last match which he can be proud of, and doesn't need to put guys over in matches anymore. There are ways to help guys get over without actually having to get in the ring to fight them.

If Austin appears at WM21, he should come out and cut a promo, apologizing for taking a WrestleMania segment away from someone who's entertaining.

But yeah, I'd rather not see Austin back. He can't wrestle, he's used up his nostalgia factor, and quite frankly, can't really do anyone any good. I was always a major SCSA mark, but there's really no point in having him come back and waste time that could potentially be used to elevate existing talent (but would most likely be used for another fucking Diva search...*sigh*) in order to get a cheap pop from the crowd.

I dunno, Austin and Hassan having a segment together would be gold. Hassan not backing down would get him instantly over. Then Austin can shake Hassan's hand in a respect sort of thing. I don't know why, but I can just see that working.

Or, what would more likely happen...

<font color=cyan>How about Steve Austin puts over Simon Dean? Or how about they hype up an Austin/Doink fued for a cross brand match? Or maybe Steve Austin can put over Steven Richards? THE BATTLE OF THE STEVES IN A BAHGAWD CAGE MATCH OF DEATH!!!!
Seriously, if Steve Austin comes back to the WWE for a one night stand I'm gonna slit my wrist in protest. Either have him come back full time or have him fuck off. This is one of the reasons I don't care for the The Rock. He should either come back to the WWE as a full time wrestler, or stay in the movies under his birth name. Yeah, Duane Johnson or what ever the crap his name is won't draw as much as The Rock, but if he's a credible actor (like Hulk Hogan is a credible wrestler) then he could still make movies, right?
Or how about they bring someone with TALENT back? I'm not saying let's push Goldust to the main event. I'm not saying that Tommy Dreamer should be the next world champion (wow, I got a hard on just typing that). I'm not saying let's see Raven VS Triple H at WMXXI.
Or why even bother bring people back? I think if he's pushed right Steven Richards could make a great IC champion. Push Hardcore Holly and Daniel Puder in a fued with each other or make them team up in some sort of random draw thingie for the tag team titles. In speaking of people who I want to see more of, anyone know how Nowinski is doing?

That wouldn't be the worst idea. Not so much him helping Cena directly, but he could lay out some of the Cabinet guys, who would of course try to get involved. Him raising Cena's hand as the new champ would be something of a rub in itself (it would hilrious if Austin offered him a beer and Cena gave him the F-U, but thats a whole other thread).
Only problem I could see with that is that Austin was a guest ref last year, not sure if people would want to see him in the same role again this year.
I dont really know who Austin could wrestle that would jump out as something I want to see. Maybe just because Ive never seen Austin put anyone over (except Rock who was already a bigger star than he was), so its hard for me to imagine what that would look like.

If he were to come back, expect it to be alongside The Rock where they beat the crap out of some unimportant guy cutting an annoying promo.
