Prince of Persia 2

I just beat POP2 a few hours ago. It was very good, but IMO not as good as the first. The fighting is really cool and same with the storyline which has a couple of swerves.

The music isn't nearly has good has the music in Sands of time. I Stand Alone is a good song but thats about it.

There is alternative ending that i hear is pretty cool. You have to get all the life upgrades to get it. So It looks I will have to beat it again.

I don't like it as much as the first one. I don't like the Prince's darker theme at all.

I prefer his darker theme than his old one. This game is pretty sick and has some sick ass combos.

I'm still not really that far into it, think I'm at the point just before the second Dahaka chase. Never played the first one, but it seems good.

I like the darker theme its just the game just seemed to be missin something. I miss the Prince's scarasm and I missed not having a traveling companion. Also the Prince's one liners in this game are so bad its hilarious. I did like one thing he said though "Death becomes you" Other then that they were really bad.

If you haven't played the first one you should rent it. It only takes like 5 days to beat and it's amazing.

I just got the altenative ending pretty sweet. It's worth doing the game over.

Buggiest game I've ever played. Had to stop playing it on PS2. After one movie clip I fell through the floor every time. I'll have to play it on PC some time.

No complaints otherwise. Great game.

When you first fight the Empress that was a great part. The story took a big twist after that.

HOLY FUCK IM STUCK PPL HELP PLZZZ

Ok I'm at the part where I have to activate the second tower. (Past) after the Clockwors and Gears part and a while after getting the Scorpion sword.

I shall detail the environnement;

I have been here earlier in the game.

I get through a metal door. And on my left is like a fire torch that you cna pull.
You must push it, in order for the door ahead to open.
Done that. Now up ahead is like an enemy and on the leftare some mini stairs which lead to some type of garden. What you have to do is run on the tree or wall or something, and pull down a platform thing. Then slow time down and make a run over to the now erected crate/box on your left. Proceed by jumping on another platform, the onto a tree, from the tree to the side of a wlal, from the wall to a swinging bar, form the swinging bar to a fence, from a fence to a rope wall, from a rope wall to the side of a wall thingy, shimmy over and jump onto a wooden board, from which will lead you to a safe floor. And there will be that dude that you kill with his crows, but the reappears. ANyhow, I kick the shit out of him, and on top of me (floor above me where I beat the Crow guy) is a box which is holding down a button thing. (Yknow like the ones you step on to open doors) and it is holding open a door below. And If I move it, the door closes. So I go down again, through the door, on the left is like water...and a little more to the left, a waterfall. So I hang from the wall,shimmy over to the opposite side get down. And ahead is like a board and in the middle of it a small penis from which you can use to jump on the rope and slide down. AND YOUR BACK AT THE BEGGINING WHERE I STARTED WHERE I HAD TO PULL THE LEVER TO OPEN THE DOOR. HOWEVER if I choose to kepe walking on the board. In front of me will be a cracked wall. And that's the end of it. I can't find a way out of there, except for going all the way back to where I got the scorpion sword. I have tried cracking the wlal with my scorpion sword but it doens't work. What do i DOOOOOOO.

Also, in this whole area I just detailed. You can go ever lower, wlalrun, and you'll find a door, from there you can descend and descend and go through a few traps to gain Life Upgrade.

Now I have tried Walkthroughs and shit, but I just can't find this part in there. WTFFF do i do? Anyone have any idea what I'm tlakin about?

What happens if you have done it right. The Garden you entered in you know when the Prince says That other places beside bablyon have discovered the wonders of Hanging gardens. There are circles on the gorund on your right has you entered the room for the first time and if you did the first part correctly levers that you push in a circle come from the ground. You have to push them the so the water is lined up with the pipes.

I think thats it.

Did you put the box over the button thing? Then ther should be one of those levers that you have to push or pull. Then you have to go back to where you came from and do the thing I said in my last post.

Wait you have the scorpion sword? Did you fight the empress of time yet?

The box was already placed on the button. And no I haven't fought any bosses since the last giant I killed in the Clockworks and Gears level. After that I went back and the bitch whose life I saved earlier form flaling off a cliff, gave me a sword. After that I climbed the ruins that erect when you pull the lever. Went through the door that was up high. Ended up in a garden. From there I got inside some other place, and ended up in the place I was tlaking about. I dont know if this helps but from where I was talking about you could see the sea and a boat far away.

Well the sword you have is the lion sword not a big deal you get the scorpion sword later.

You got the life upgrade

then you went up and eventually got to a crow master(thats what the crow guys called). After he dissappers the first time he reapperas above you on a platform. You have to go to where he is hit him until he dissappears again.

then on the platform your on is lever that you pull down. Which Lowers the bridge. Then you go across the bridge and you move the box back over the bridge onto the button Which opens the door.

then you go back down the crowmaster kill him. Go thorugh the door and push or pull the lever.Then theres a cutscene with water flowing into the garden where you started from. Not the one where the life upgrade was at. The first garden you walked into. Then you go back to the first garden where you oringiall came from. Then do what I said.

Ok sorry about repeating the stuff you said. I needed to go over it again in my head.
